Enhance reliability and layout efficiency in data centers, telecom rooms, and equipment closets with the Middle Atlantic Support Angles. Designed to cradle raised flooring around rack installations, these 4-bay, 38-inch-deep BGR-compatible support angles deliver steadfast, field-ready support that keeps cables organized and airflow unimpeded. Built for durability and precision, this accessory line is a foundational element for clean, professional rack deployments across environments that demand robust, cable-friendly infrastructure.

  • Sturdy steel construction for long-term durability: These support angles are engineered from solid steel to resist daily wear and heavy equipment loads. The rigid framework helps maintain alignment and reduces flex over time, ensuring your raised floor remains stable as racks and enclosures are added or reorganized. The result is a dependable backbone for critical IT and network environments that require consistent performance from the ground up.
  • 38" deep compatibility with BGR racks: Specifically designed to work with 38-inch-deep BGR racks, these angles align precisely with your system footprint. The optimized depth supports proper clearance for cabling, cooling pathways, and service access, minimizing obstruction while preserving accessible service areas for technicians and equipment maintainers.
  • 1/8" thick, fully welded construction: The thick, fully welded members offer superior rigidity and resistance to deformation. This level of fabrication yields a clean, professional installation with consistent tolerances, so your raised floor interface remains square and true even under mounting stress or dynamic changes in load distribution.
  • Riser bases for field rough-in prior to rack arrival: The riser bases provide practical, field-ready flexibility. Installers can rough-in wiring paths and floor penetrations ahead of rack and enclosure delivery, reducing on-site downtime and accelerating deployment schedules. This feature is especially valuable in projects with tight timelines or where early floor access is essential.
  • Supports raised flooring around rack installations: By elevating and stabilizing the area around racks, these supports help maintain consistent airflow, control floor-to-rack clearance, and enable orderly cable routing beneath and around the equipment. The result is a cleaner infrastructure where serviceability and future scalability are straightforward and less disruptive.

how to install Middle Atlantic Support Angles, 4 Bay, 38 Inch Deep BGR Racks

Step 1 – Plan and verify compatibility: Before installation, confirm that the floor structure can support the combined load of the BGR racks and the raised flooring system. Review the 38" depth requirement and ensure there is adequate clearance for cable pathways and future expansion. Having a clear plan minimizes on-site adjustments and keeps the project on schedule.

Step 2 – Prepare the riser bases: Deploy the riser bases to establish the field rough-in. These bases are designed to simplify early cable routing and floor penetration work, letting you stage the infrastructure ahead of rack delivery. Ensure all bases are level and uniformly spaced to maintain proper alignment and load distribution.

Step 3 – Position and align the support angles: With the riser bases in place, position the 4-bay support angles so they align precisely with the intended rack footprint. Check for square alignment with the room’s grid, and adjust as needed to guarantee an even, stable platform that interfaces cleanly with the raised flooring system.

Step 4 – Secure and verify integrity: Fasten the support angles according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local code requirements. After installation, verify that the assembly is rigid and free of unwanted movement. A stable base reduces vibrational impact on mounted equipment and supports proper airflow across the rack area.

Step 5 – Route cabling and finalize floor interface: Plan cable paths beneath and around the installed angles, keeping power and data lines separate where possible to reduce interference. Complete any remaining flooring penetrations and seals, ensuring that the raised floor remains intact, accessible, and ready for rack mounting or enclosure installation.

Step 6 – Inspect and document: Conduct a final inspection to verify alignment, levelness, and compatibility with 38" deep BGR racks. Document the installation for future maintenance, upgrades, or expansion, and keep a record of part numbers, measurements, and floor coordinates for quick reference on future projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the primary purpose of Middle Atlantic Support Angles? They provide a sturdy, stable foundation for raised flooring around rack installations, helping maintain alignment, improving airflow, and enabling easier cable management in data centers and telecom rooms.
  • Which rack depth do these support angles fit? They are designed for 38-inch-deep BGR racks, offering precise compatibility and clean integration with the associated equipment footprint.
  • What is the construction material and thickness? The angles are manufactured from steel with a 1/8-inch thickness, and they are fully welded for maximum rigidity and durability in demanding environments.
  • Do the riser bases support field rough-in? Yes. The riser bases are specifically provided to allow field rough-in work prior to the arrival of racks and enclosures, reducing on-site downtime and accelerating project timelines.
  • Can these angles improve airflow and cable management? Absolutely. By elevating and stabilizing the area around the racks, they promote better airflow under floor systems and provide clear, unobstructed pathways for cables, which simplifies routing and maintenance.

Worked perfectly for me. Sorry I waited so long.
Size: 1 Gallon + Tool, Set name: Off-Road Formula
I was clearing a field full of mesquite trees, and my tractor tires were getting destroyed. Mesquite has nasty 3-inch thorns, and I was plugging tires constantly. Eventually, all four tires were flat at the start of each day. These tires had been plugged more than 10 times each. I bought FlatOut Quick Strike and followed the instructions exactly. The pump dispenses about 1 oz per pump, so I put 30 pumps in each tire, and the bottle was mostly empty by the time I finished. Typical with any pump dispenser it was also difficult to get the last bit out of the bottle using the pump. It’s been a week now. One tire has lost about 1 PSI, but the other three are still holding exactly where I set them. Considering how badly these tires were damaged, I’m impressed so far. This is the first time I’ve gone more than a day without dealing with flats in that field.

Pump is worthless
Size: 1 Gallon + Tool, Set name: Small Tire/Bicycle Formula
The sealant is good. The gallon pump is a joke. Pump stopped working 4 pumps in. Went and got another replacement pump from automotive store, also broke after 4 pumps. Ended up cleaning out an old Slime bottle and pouring in the flat out sealant in the slime bottle, so I could actually get it in my tires.

There seems to be a chronic problem with the provided dispensing pump.
Size: 1 Gallon + Tool, Set name: Off-Road Formula
I looked at online reviews of the product performance and was impressed by its purported ability seal tire punctures. While the product may (or may not) perform well, the provided dispensing pump is pathetically unsuited for the application and it is impossible to clear the pump once the material clogs the small dispensing port. Some of the reviews indicated this but i assumed that they were not very mechanical inclined customers. The product, by design, has particulates, of varying sizes, suspended in the liquid sealant. The port on pump is very small and easily becomes blocked with the sealant and particulates that cannot be cleared; even when following the instructions to do so. It is very irresponsible for the manufacturer to continue selling this item with inevitable relative failure of the pump as this is the only way to get the sealant into a tire.

Good for ebike tires
Size: 1 Gallon + Tool, Set name: Small Tire/Bicycle Formula
Got it for my son’s older ebike that my wife rides now. He kept on popping tubes, maybe because of his weight. Anyhow, I fixed it up for my wife and put some FlatOut in it to prevent flats. Seems to work so far. Got the off road FlatOut for my ebike’s fat tires. Easy to add to the tires. The pump clogs up but it’s easy to clean. I will always add this to all tires moving forward!
