Continuing on the success from the Hyperlite pad the new Hyperlite 2 is designed with added durability to hold up better throughout the season while still giving you the performance you're after. This has been done with some new technology and some brought over from the MACH family.

EXTERNAL CONSTRUCTION

The Hyperlite 2 features the SL1D3R material first introduced on the MACH pad & blocker, this material is a combination of materials that also include a sheet of HDPE and a special coating to the face. This coating enhances the effect of the HDPE sheet and with the SL1D3R material you will feel even more confident sliding through the crease with an even more effortless feel.

INTERNAL CONSTRUCTION & CORE

Internally the pad has the Rebound Boost Core from the Hyperlite pad which gives you massive rebounds while being controllable at the same time so you know where you need to get to for that next shot. The core of the pad is a pre-curved design with a single break, this allows the pad to naturally shape around your leg for a more comfortable feel and making the pads sit more natural on you. 

BOOT & TOE DESIGN

We continue to see Bauer using the 100-degree boot angle that is a more aggressive lean forward design so you can get overtop your skates so you can drop down efficiently. This angle also works for providing better mobility as it makes the boot sit flatter to the skate dropping the overall pad height slightly which helps create that improved mobility and reduced thigh overlap.

KNEE CRADLE & STRAPPING

Continuing with the Stabiflex knee block that we saw on the Hyperlite, this gives the goalie great stability and support for your knee when down in the butterfly. Keeping you connected to the pad is the TuneFit strapping system that is designed to work with your comfort level so you can adjust it based on how tight or loose you like your pad to feel. They have also included a lower calf strap for better connection to the leg. The stock pad does not come with a boot strap but is available to do on a custom order. With our JH Spec we have also added the Vapor Tune-Fit connecting strap an even more connected feeling to the pad.
