Designed for the needs of modern enterprises, the Cisco Catalyst C9300-24UB Ethernet Switch combines robust security, IoT readiness, mobility support, and cloud-friendly management in a compact, stackable platform. As part of Cisco’s leading Catalyst family, the 9300 series is built to evolve with your network, delivering high performance, scalable growth, and policy-driven control across the campus edge. This model is tailored for organizations that demand reliable access-layer switching that can power IP phones, wireless access points, security cameras, and a growing fleet of IoT devices while remaining easy to deploy, manage, and secure.

With the C9300-24UB, you gain a flexible, future-proof solution that helps you simplify network operations and strengthen security at the edge. Its architecture supports advanced security features, intelligent segmentation, and resilient stacking, enabling consistent performance even as traffic patterns shift and device density increases. The switch is designed to integrate with cloud-centric management and analytics workflows, allowing IT teams to automate configuration, monitor network health, and rapidly respond to threats or changes in demand. In short, the Catalyst 9300-24UB is a reliable backbone for an increasingly connected workplace, delivering the reliability and features you need today while remaining adaptable for tomorrow.

  • Performance and reliability: The Catalyst 9300-24UB is built for high-throughput, low-latency switching at the access layer. Its architecture emphasizes stable, deterministic performance, making it ideal for dense device deployments and multimedia workloads. With scalable stacking and resilient failover, IT teams can grow capacity without sacrificing consistency, ensuring that critical applications—voice, video, and collaboration tools—remain responsive even during peak periods.
  • Security and IoT readiness: Security is embedded at every layer, from device authentication and policy enforcement to segmentation and threat prevention. The 9300-24UB supports robust features such as 802.1X, MACsec, and dynamic access control lists, enabling granular device trust and secure onboarding for IoT endpoints. This model helps isolate IoT devices from sensitive networks while still delivering reliable connectivity and QoS guarantees for business-critical services.
  • Mobility and cloud readiness: As workplaces evolve toward mobile-first strategies, the 9300-24UB provides the performance to support large numbers of wireless clients and IP phones with strong QoS. Its software architecture is designed for cloud-friendly management and analytics, allowing administrators to leverage centralized environments to configure policies, monitor performance, and orchestrate updates. This integration with modern cloud workflows reduces manual tasks and accelerates network-wide changes across multiple sites.
  • Energy efficiency and PoE: The switch is engineered with energy-conscious design in mind, offering efficient power utilization and PoE+ support to power next-generation IP phones, cameras, and access points. By consolidating power management and data connectivity in a single device, it minimizes cable clutter and simplifies installation. The PoE capability also enables smarter, more scalable edge deployments that adapt to evolving security, lighting, and occupancy sensing requirements.
  • Flexible deployment and manageability: The Catalyst 9300-24UB is designed for flexible deployment, with stackable configurations and a range of uplink options to connect to the core or data center. Its management ecosystem supports policy-driven provisioning, automated firmware updates, and centralized visibility, helping IT teams enforce consistent configurations and security baselines across the campus. The durable hardware and modular approach make it suitable for growing campuses, multi-building sites, and dynamic office environments.

How to Install Cisco Catalyst C9300-24UB Ethernet Switch

  • Prepare your environment: Ensure you have a suitable 19-inch rack, mounting rails, and the appropriate power supplies. Plan your stacking topology and identify the core switch or distribution layer where uplinks will terminate. Verify that you have the correct cables (Ethernet, SFP/SFP+ as required) and console access tools for initial configuration.
  • Unbox and inspect: Remove the switch from its packaging and inspect for any physical damage. Confirm that all included hardware—mounting brackets, cables, and power supplies—are present and undamaged before proceeding.
  • Install and connect power: Mount the switch in the rack, secure it, and connect the power supply(s). Ensure that the power source meets the device’s requirements and that any redundant power configuration is properly wired to minimize downtime in case of a component failure.
  • Initial configuration: Use the console port to access the device and perform initial setup, including assigning a management IP address, setting a strong administrator password, enabling essential features, and updating to the latest firmware if necessary. Establish basic VLANs and a secure remote management method to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Policy, security, and onboarding: Configure QoS policies to prioritize critical applications, set up device authentication and access controls, and integrate the switch into your centralized management platform (such as Cisco DNA Center) for ongoing monitoring, compliance enforcement, and automated policy deployment. Validate connectivity and performance across wired devices, wireless APs, and security cameras.

Love them
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
I wear a size 11.5 in ladies shoe and these just barely fit. Butttt after I put lotion on my feet and slipped these on and left them on for about 30 mins. It left my feet really soft! They work great as intended. Would buy again

Effective but may be uncomfortable
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
I have eczema on my feet and use a prescription cream that I leave on overnight. I often have a problem sleeping in socks but the silicone feels cool on my feet. The only drawback I have is the opening of the socks feel very tight around my ankles making them uncomfortable on me. I wish the opening was a bit more flexible.

Burned my already sensitive feet, too big
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
Feels icky, and the heat gets trapped and literally felt like my feet were being burned by these. The bottoms of these feel prickly and they are way too big. You have to sit still and cannot walk in them.

Just as good as paraffin wax
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Medium/Large(fits size 8 to 11)
I might prefer these socks over paraffin wax. They are comfy and very moisturizing. I use these socks once a week to keep the heels and soles of my feet moisturized between pedicures. I rinse with warm, soapy water then hang to dry. They are hard to walk in, but there's a saying printed in the socks that's says something to the effect of "take a break, stay off your feet" lol I love that as a reminder to put my feet up and relax

Love these!
Color: Pink & Beige, Size: Small(fits up to size 7)
Love these! As I write this review, I’m sitting in my recliner with these on. I have had other silicone socks in the past and would like to share a few of the things that I have learned. These fit great! The others were 2-3 sizes too big because you could not order a size. I wear a size 7 women’s shoe. I got the smaller size. I walked around my apartment in my old ones and they got kinda yucky. Now, I sit in my recliner, put them on and chill for a few hours. I now take them off and put in a ziplock bag so they stay nice and clean (no cat hair!). I use them once a week usually on Saturday or Sunday as I’m a working girl. Also, I use Auqaphor before I put them on and put cotton socks on after I’m finished. Your feet will be SO soft. This is not a one and done…I do this every week especially during sandal season! I know this was lengthy and I hope you got some tips.
