As you'd possibly expect given the legally dubious nature of unofficial remixes, there's not much information to be found about the producer or producers behind this single-sided revision of Depeche Mode's 1990 synth-pop classic 'Enjoy The Silence'. They've done a rather good job though, combining effects-laden snippets from the Essex band's much-loved original (largely the vocals, jangly guitars and some of the ear-pleasing synth work) with surging synth sounds, tech-house style electronic noises and a rolling, non-stop house groove. Whether needed or not, it has the feel of a guaranteed party-starter/peak-time anthem. Perfect for holiday season DJ sets - and any excuse for celebratory sing-alongs.
