The Eaton In-Row Precision Cooling System delivers targeted, high-efficiency cooling in a compact footprint designed for small-to-medium data centers, IT rooms, and edge locations. Engineered as a SmartRack® in-row solution, this unit sits between racks to remove heat directly at the source, reducing hot spots and improving overall cooling effectiveness while freeing valuable floor space for additional equipment. Ideal for environments where traditional CRAC or CRHC units are too bulky, this in-row design blends powerful performance with space-conserving dimensions, delivering precise cooling where you need it most.

  • In-row, space-saving footprint (42U height, 300 mm depth) fits neatly within data center rows and tight edge deployments, maximizing rack density without sacrificing cooling capacity.
  • Delivers dependable precision cooling with a capacity of 12.8 kW (43,686 BTU/hr), engineered to handle dense IT loads and keep critical equipment within its ideal operating range.
  • Powered by standard data center electrical infrastructure—208V, 3-phase input—providing robust, reliable power delivery for modern server, storage, and networking gear.
  • Designed for SmartRack integration, enabling streamlined deployment, centralized monitoring, and efficient management within existing rack ecosystems.
  • Targeted cooling for edge and small-to-medium data centers, reducing energy waste and improving airflow efficiency by delivering cooling directly to hot zones without overprovisioning.

How to install Eaton In-Row Precision Cooling System

  • Plan placement in-row: Position the unit between racks within the data center aisle, ensuring adequate front and rear clearance for intake and exhaust airflow as specified in the installation manual.
  • Prepare electrical supply: Confirm 208V, 3-phase power availability and install a dedicated circuit or breaker as required by local electrical codes and the unit’s electrical draw.
  • Mount and connect: Install the in-row module in the chosen rack position, align with the row layout, and connect power and monitoring cables according to the manufacturer’s wiring diagram.
  • Configure control and monitoring: Set up the unit’s controls, integrate with centralized monitoring systems if applicable, and enable any remote alerting features to ensure visibility of performance and fault conditions.
  • Commission and test: Start the unit, verify airflow paths, confirm setpoints align with IT load, and perform basic cooling tests to validate temperature differential across intake and exhaust.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: What is in-row precision cooling?

A: In-row precision cooling places a dedicated cooling module directly within the data center row between racks. This approach delivers cooling where heat is generated, resulting in improved airflow efficiency, reduced hot spots, and often lower total energy consumption compared to traditional room-oriented cooling solutions.

  • Q: What IT environments is the Eaton in-row system best suited for?

A: It’s ideal for small-to-medium data centers, IT rooms, and edge locations where space is at a premium, rows are tight, and heat loads are dense enough to require high-precision cooling in a compact footprint.

  • Q: What electrical requirements does this unit have?

A: The unit operates on 208V, 3-phase power. Ensure your electrical infrastructure provides a suitable service and appropriate circuit protection in accordance with local electrical codes and the product manual.

  • Q: How much cooling capacity does the system provide?

A: The system delivers 12.8 kW of cooling capacity, equivalent to 43,686 BTU/hr, enough to manage heat load from dense IT equipment in compact IT spaces.

  • Q: How does the 42U, 300 mm dimensions influence deployment?

A: The 42U height and 300 mm depth enable the unit to be installed within standard data center rack rows, leaving space for cable management and ensuring efficient front-to-back airflow while maintaining a slim footprint.

This brand has been good for me overall but.....
I do find it harder to swallow a capsule, than a large pill. I agree that is odd but it is happening to me. So I went with the larger pill. The capsules tend to stick to my throat even when drinking water first.

Pampers Always!
Size: Size 4, Unit Count: 92
Pampers has been the choice for all three of my babies over the years. So very rarely leak and super comfy! May be a bit more pricey but WORTH IT. These are not as nice of quality as pampers swaddlers but still great and cheaper.

Pampers Baby Dry = Diaper Royalty
Size: Size 4, Unit Count: 186
Okay, let’s just I was loyal to Luvs for a long time. We had a good run, but after a few too many “why does it smell like that?” moments, I decided it was time for a diaper glow-up. These diapers understood the assignment. The fit? Perfect. Snug without being tight, soft without feeling flimsy. My baby moves like i'm constantly wrestling a gator and not once has this diaper let me down. No leaks, no overnight disasters, no random damp pajamas that make you question your life choices at 2 a.m. Pampers said “let’s make a diaper that can handle a whole night of baby chaos.” Mission accomplished. And the smell? Or should I say, lack of smell. Pampers somehow manages to keep things fresh. This was my biggest ick using Luvs. Honestly, the switch from Luvs felt like trading in my old car for a luxury SUV. Still gets the job done, but now with comfort, style, and zero mess. (and affordable!!!) If you’re tired of surprise leaks, mystery odors, or mid-night outfit changes, this is your sign: Pampers Baby Dry is the one. 💚 Would I recommend? Absolutely. Would I ever go back? Not a chance.

Pampers Baby Dry are actually good again! Major upgrade.
Size: Size 3, Unit Count: 168
I’ve used Baby Dry off and on for a while, but the new “improved” version is a huge step up from the old design. They used to feel kind of generic, thin, boxy, and not great for active toddlers, but now they’re a real contender next to Swaddlers and Huggies Little Movers. What’s new: • The shape is much more like Swaddlers, snugger around the hips and legs, less floppy in the front. • Tabs are noticeably stronger and stretchier. • The inside has a new ultra cushiony top layer that feels soft and plush, not papery. • They seem to have a slightly faster and more even absorbency, too. • Still the same cute Sesame Street prints and blue inner layer, but the overall fit and quality feel more “premium.” Size-wise, the new Baby Dry run a bit larger than Huggies size 3 but a touch smaller than Swaddlers size 3 so a great in-between fit. For parents like us who can’t use 360-style pull-ons at daycare, these are perfect. They have tabs, fit toddlers well, and hold up to big pees without the sag or stiffness the old Baby Dry had. Bottom line: a big win for Pampers these finally feel like a proper toddler diaper, not an expensive generic. Highly recommend giving them another try if you haven’t used them recently!

Reliable overnight protection with minimal leaks
Size: Size 6, Unit Count: 112
These have been very reliable for overnight use. They hold a lot without leaking, even after a full night of sleep. The fit is secure around the legs and waist without leaving marks. I also appreciate that they don’t have a strong scent. Compared to other brands I’ve tried, these seem to last longer before needing a change. Only minor downside is they can feel a bit bulky when very full, but that’s expected for the absorbency.
