The garnets display rich, glowing tones that shift with the light, evoking the opulence of early 19th-century English jewelry. Their closed-back settings remain beautifully preserved, and the bloomed gold finish adds an elegant warmth to the piece.
Measuring 16 inches in length, the necklace rests gracefully at the collarbone and is secured with a discreet clasp in keeping with its original construction. It is in overall good antique condition, with some minor surface wear and a single hairline fracture to one of the garnets visible under magnification. Previous repairs to the reverse have been professionally and sensitively executed, preserving both the structural integrity and visual harmony of the necklace.
