Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.This material is a Synthetic Fiber based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer; it brakes better and is quieter. Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor). This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking.It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Awesome cases! They really are cool to the touch. I didn’t sleep hot at all. I have a “cut-out” memory foam pillow, and this stretched around it perfectly. It is flexible enough that it doesn’t impede with the cut out. And while the material is “silky,” it doesn’t slide around the pillow while sleeping on it. The zipper feature is perfect. I washed and dried per the tag instructions and they washed very well. Super happy.

AMAZING - LOVE THESE!

I've been using these pillow cases for more than 6 months and LOVE them. They are well made, no wrinkling, fraying or wearing out, even with a weekly washing. I love the zippers on them, my pillows fits perfectly in the case and don't constantly escape from the case overnight. They definitely perform as described: they keep me cool at night and don't smell and actually don't make a mess of my hair. I bought an extra one and put it on a pillow I keep close to my body which helps me from overheating during the night. They are a great value for the price, I wish I could get top sheets in the same style as these and I'd be in heaven!

Cool Pillowcases
Color: Gray, Size: Queen (U.S. Standard), Set name: Stretchy and Soft
These pillow cases are silky soft and cool to the touch. They don’t stay as cool as I would like, however, so I find myself moving around on the pillow to find a cool spot or flipping the pillow over. I have washed them several times and the coolness seems to be diminishing. Still, it’s better than a regular cotton pillow case. The zipper is needed and helps keep the material on the pillow.

Great pillow, but the cooling effect depends on the cover

I really like this pillow overall. It’s comfortable, supportive, and feels well made. When you use it without a pillowcase, it definitely feels cool to the touch and does what it claims in terms of that initial cooling sensation.
However, once you put a pillowcase on it, you can’t really feel the cooling effect anymore. I’ve tried multiple different pillowcases made from different materials, and none of them really let that cool feeling come through.
That said, I still love the pillow itself. It’s comfortable and supportive enough that I’m keeping it. Just keep in mind that the cooling feature works best without a cover, which isn’t ideal for everyone.
Overall, a good pillow — just manage expectations about the cooling effect once it’s covered.
