Heatmiser's Dead Air is still a mighty fine debut album, though more credit should probably go to ELLIOTT SMITH's co-singer/guitarist Neil Gust. There's a perhaps inevitable casting of grunge over everything given it's 1993 genesis, but instead of sprawl, the emphasis is on tautness, vocals rough but not whined, more HÜSKER DÜ and MISSION OF BURMA, say, than BLACK SABBATH or BLACK FLAG. Neil Gust's knack for anthemic, empowering choruses infused with open emotional passion makes the FUGAZI comparison in particular appropriate. The songs don't waste time - 14 in 37 minutes - and steer away from easy singalong approaches in favor of slightly more complex headbanging with a brain and heart. "Stray," re-recorded from an earlier single, sounds fantastic, just brawling with both fierce energy and close-to-the heart empathy, not to mention a great chorus. "Bottle Rocket" is a definite winner, with some great call-and-response vocal work and a steadily building verse-into-chorus structure that's fierce without falling prey to incipient emo clichés. Every so often there's some great flash on the guitars - check out the solo on "Dirt" - while the rhythm section does well enough (drummer Tony Lash in particular).

Pretty and seems to work but smells odd at first.
Color: 2pc
Beautiful but smells a little fishy at first. Thankfully the smell dissipates fairly quickly.

Lovely shimmer, but lingering scent and uneven mist are disappointing
Color: 1pc
I love the shimmer in this. And I love that there is spf. But the spray nozzle doesn't provide a fine mist, it's more like a splatter so it's hard to apply evenly. There is also a lingering scent that I find a little overwhelming to have directly on my face. I want to love it, but I'm giving it 3 stars for those issues.

Greasy and way too glittery.
Color: 2pc
The fine spray was nice but Way too shimmery! Looked like I left a strip club! Not a bad thing, just not 24-7

Glitter

The ingredient list checks out as a sunscreen, but for SPF 50, it seemed too watery from my observation. It was easy to apply because it’s light and watery, but I doubt it’s as effective as it should be. This glowing and lightweight sunscreen also has a faint watermelon like scent, and all those nice oil based ingredients moisturized my skin well. The spray is convenient and easy to use, and I like that about it. However, I am just not a big fan of glittery stuff. Whether it’s on a Christmas card or on my skin, whether I like it or not, it will end up being eaten or breathed in one way or another. Overall, this is an okay product, and I really wish it didn’t have glitter in it.

This is very cute sheer mist for all over body. I’m not sure if it really works as sunscreen because I feel it too watery to apply it nicely all over. I definitely don’t intend to use it as facial sunscreen (I’m trying to protect my face from more dark spots). The mist is very sparkly and I love it. Once sprayed it provides sparkly finish and it looks nice. There’s no smell (or very very mild one) and it absorbs really fast due to it being very watery. Now as someone mentioned the spray part is a bit annoying- it leaves patches of watery spray instead of fine mist. You definitely need to tap it in after spraying which is a bit annoying. I’ll definitely use this as part of my pool/beach routine - probably on top of “normal” sunscreen for all over my body. It adds a bit of hydration too which is nice.
