Top Panel Features
- Input Jack: Use this jack to connect your instrument via a standard ¼” mono cable.
- Headphone Output: Connect your Headphones and enjoy an IR emulating your cabinet sound.
- Preset: Pressing the preset button changes through presets 1 to 5 and a bypass signal. Long press to store the current preset.
- Input: Controls the amount of analog input gain. Press to activate/deactivate the effects loop for the preset.
- Compression: Controls the amount of dynamic compression. The make up gain is adjusted automatically. Press to select between compressor OFF/Pre/Post drive position.
- Drive: Controls the amount of gain of the selected drive mode. Press to select between: OFF/Leo Bass/Vintage Microtubes/Microtubes B3K/Alpha·Omega. Long press to access the Noise Gate threshold control.
- Tone: Controls the Drivel tone/ Octaver filter. Press to select which control is active.
- Level: Controls the Drive level/ Tweeter level. Press to select which control is active.
- Blend: Controls the Drive blend/ Octaver blend. Press to select which control is active.
- Preset Vol: Controls the preset volume. Press to toggle between the 7 IR slots/IR bypass for Post DI & Headphone OUT.
- Graphic EQ section: Preset-specific Darkglass EQ. ± 12 dB @ Low Shelf/250 Hz/500 Hz/1.5 kHz/3 kHz/High Shelf.
- Master: Controls the overall volume of the speaker and headphone outputs. Press for Mute + Tuner. Long press for Bluetooth pairing. (Audio+Suite).
Back Panel Features
- AC Power ON/OFF: Power ON the combo beast.
- AC Socket: Use this connector to feed electric power to the amplifier. 100 – 230 VAC, 50-60Hz. Set the voltage selector switch to the correct position before turning on the amplifier!
- MIDI In: Standard DIN connector. Use the 7-pin MIDI connector only with the Darkglass MIDI footswitch, and use a 5-pin connector with other MIDI equipment.
- USB: The USB-C port unlocks Combo’s USB audio interface capabilities and allows connection to the Darkglass Suite. USB MIDI In/Out is also supported.
- Post DI Output: Use this connector to send your signal to the console, mic preamp, interface, etc. This output provides the processed signal with or without the IR.
- Ground Lift: Use this control to lift the ground of the XLR outputs. If you are experiencing ground noise in your DI signal, try changing this control.
- Pre DI Out: Use this connector to send your signal to the console, mic preamp, interface, etc. This output provides the unprocessed signal.
- Line Out: Use this connector to send your signal to line input of a console, interface, etc. This output provides the processed signal without the IR. You can also link several combos together using this output!
- Line In: This input accepts +4 dBu line level signals from an amp modeler, keyboard, etc. Use this input when linking Darkglass Combos.
- Send: Use this output to send the signal to your outboard gear.
- Return: Use this input to receive the signal from your outboard gear.
- External Speaker: Use this connector to connect the amplifier to an external speaker cabinet. The SpeakON Combo jack allows for SpeakON or ¼” speaker cable operation. The minimum load impedance is 8 Ω. The minimum power rating must be 250 W.
WARNING: Do not use an instrument cable with this jack. Using an instrument cable can damage your amplifier.

Best Spider-Man book out there!

I really enjoyed this first volume of ultimate Spider-Man. As a (sort of) adult myself I love the new twist on the origin with Peter being a grown ass man with in his mid to late 30s with a career & young family when he gets the the powers this time instead of geeky teenager who is perpetually in his 20s in the 696 Marvel universe. Really enjoy the different take on Green Goblin as well and looking forward to seeing how everything plays out with the whole mission and greater conflict laid out in this book. The artwork is stellar and the writing is really sharp and crisp. Peter has never been more likable & charismatic and MJ & Gwen Stacey have never looked hotter. I could not recommend this book highly enough if you are a Spider-Man fan. As a matter of fact I enjoyed this book so much that I read it twice which I very rarely do.

The Spider-Man We Didn't Know We Needed

Ultimate Spider-Man (2024) Vol. 1 is the breath of fresh air the franchise needed. Instead of the familiar wide-eyed teenager, we get a Peter Parker in his mid-30s - a husband, a father, and a man already carrying the weight of the world before he ever puts on a suit. That added dimension makes him instantly more compelling.
The family dynamics, while central to the premise, don't always land with the emotional weight they deserve. It's a minor gripe in an otherwise confident debut.
Hickman deserves credit for sidestepping decades of continuity baggage and reimagining beloved characters in arcs that feel genuinely new. For longtime fans and newcomers alike, this is a worthy read.

A Phenomenal, Fresh Take on Spider-Man
Format: Paperback
As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I’ve read countless iterations of the character, but Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimate Spider-Man is something truly special. The story is original, bold, and absolutely phenomenal, breathing new life into the mythos while still respecting what makes Spider-Man great.
Hickman has long been one of my favorite writers—his work on X-Men, House of X, and Secret Wars was groundbreaking, and he brings that same level of depth and world-building here. The storytelling is sharp, layered, and gripping from the very first page.
And the artwork is absolutely stunning. Every panel is beautifully crafted, capturing the emotion, action, and energy of Spider-Man’s world in a way that makes it impossible to put down.
This is exactly the kind of fresh, innovative storytelling I was hoping for. If you’re a fan of Spider-Man or Hickman’s work, this is a must-read. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Finally Peter gets to grow up
Format: Kindle
Amazing art and story that is down right fun to read. Fans finally get to see the adult Spiderman deal with crime, bad guys and of course his family- the wife and kids.
Its also gives a new spin on all of Spiderman’s cast of both friends and enemies.
Don’t pass up on this one.
