Auto-Keystone Correction

THE PROJECTOR THAT ALMOST INSTALLS ITSELF

BenQ's auto-adjust corner-fit feature is the install-friction killer most sim buyers don't realize they need. Mount the projector, press one button, and the unit auto-corrects the image to fit your screen geometry. No tedious manual keystone tuning, no climbing a ladder six times to nudge corners by eye. This is the single most time-consuming step in a typical projector install, and BenQ engineered it down to a single button press.

Golf-Tuned Picture Mode

EXCLUSIVE GOLF MODE FOR COURSE REALISM

BenQ's Golf Mode color preset is tuned specifically for the green-and-sky palette of simulator courses. Rich fairway greens, accurate sky blues, and clean ball-tracking contrast that doesn't crush shadow detail in tree lines. Most general-purpose projectors color-shift the grass into a muddy yellow-green; the AH30ST gets it right out of the box.

Short-Throw For Tight Rooms

120-INCH IMAGE FROM 5 FEET OF THROW

The 0.69-0.83 short-throw ratio means a 120-inch image projects from roughly 5 feet away. Fits low-ceiling basements, garage builds, and tight enclosure setups where standard projectors won't work. Adjustable zoom gives you slack to dial in the exact screen fill.

Sim-Tuned Input Lag

16.7 MS GAME MODE FOR REAL-TIME SHOT FEEDBACK

Game Mode drops input lag to roughly 16.7 ms. Your launch monitor's shot data shows on screen in real time without the perceived delay that breaks immersion. Critical for accurate putting reads and immediate ball-flight feedback.

Easier Install Than You Think

MOUNT, PLUG, AND HIT IN UNDER AN HOUR

Most home sim owners install this projector themselves in 30-60 minutes. Mount it, run one HDMI cable to your gaming PC, plug in power, press the auto-adjust button, that's it. If you've installed a ceiling fan or a TV mount before, this is easier. If you'd rather not DIY, our SimSquad team walks you through the whole install on a call.

What is the BenQ AH30ST?

The BenQ AH30ST is a 1080p short-throw laser projector engineered specifically for golf simulator rooms. 3,000 ANSI lumens, BenQ's auto corner-fit keystone correction for fast install, an exclusive Golf Mode color preset, and short-throw optics that fit a 120-inch image in 5 feet of throw distance. Lamp-free 20,000-hour laser engine means no bulb replacements over a decade of typical sim use.

Why Choose the BenQ AH30ST?

Honest framing: the AH30ST is BenQ's entry into the simulator-specific projector tier. Auto-keystone and Golf Mode are real install and image-quality wins, the kind of stuff you only appreciate after fighting with a generic projector for an afternoon. 3,000 lumens handles most controlled sim rooms, if your space has significant ambient light, step up to the AH500ST (4,000 lumens) or higher. For the price tier, this is the most install-friendly projector we ship.

Not sure if the BenQ AH30ST fits your specific room? SimSquad will spec it based on your ceiling height, throw distance, and screen size before you buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The BenQ AH30ST includes BenQ's Auto Adjust corner-fit keystone correction. Mount the projector, press one button, and the unit auto-corrects the image to fit your screen geometry. This is the single most time-consuming step in a typical projector install, and BenQ's auto-keystone eliminates it. Critical install advantage over most competing projectors at this tier.

Most home sim owners install the BenQ AH30ST themselves in 30 to 60 minutes. Mount the projector to your ceiling or floor mount, run one HDMI cable to your gaming PC, plug in power, press the auto-keystone button, that's it. If you've installed a ceiling fan or TV mount before, this is easier. Our SimSquad team walks through any step on a call if you'd rather not DIY.

The BenQ AH30ST has a 0.69 to 0.83 short-throw ratio, which fits most home sim rooms with 8 to 10-foot ceilings and 10+ feet of depth. Specific throw distance depends on your target screen size. SimSquad will spec the right projector based on your specific room dimensions before you buy.

The BenQ AH30ST delivers 3,000 ANSI lumens. For most controlled indoor sim rooms with managed lighting, this is plenty. If your room has significant ambient light, daylight windows, or you're running a 150+ inch screen, talk to SimSquad about a higher-lumen option in the BenQ or Panasonic lineup.

Yes. The BenQ AH30ST has standard HDMI inputs and works with every simulator software platform we ship, including GSPro, E6 Connect, and TGC 2019. Software compatibility is handled by your gaming PC, not the projector. The BenQ AH30ST renders whatever the PC outputs.

The BenQ AH30ST works with standard universal projector mounts including our RoS Ceiling Projector Mount. For low-ceiling rooms where ceiling mounting isn't practical, our SwingShield Floor Enclosure is sized for projectors of this footprint.

BenQ's standard projector warranty applies. Specific terms vary by region. Reach out to SimSquad for warranty details or extended-coverage options on the BenQ AH30ST.

Unnatural Laws introduces a few wrinkles to the isekai LitRPG template and makes a comfy niche for itself. First, as the title implies, it introduces a few variations to the laws of physics. Water has higher self-cohesion, breathing can be weaponized, gravity's parameters work differently, etc. Second, the book includes the "forced participation in a training/puzzle facility" subgenre. Instead of a short tutorial arc, the first book ends well before winning free of the deadly training scenarios. Third, the "portal" mechanism by which folks are yoinked into a new reality. It is implied that the "kidnapped to another world" setup will continue to be important to the plot, where in most other Isekai it doesn't particularly matter how or why the MC got yoinked...it only matters that it happened. The most important things to me are characters. And these characters work! The MC is snarky, tough-minded, and takes charge. In a romance novel dust jacket, that description would already have me nauseous in anticipation of a vapid young woman who "zings" when silence would serve and who only appears "tough" and "take charge" because all of the other characters react to her that way. Not in this book! In this story, it's real and it's working for me. The secondary characters are also real to me. A young woman who low-key flirts with everyone (unconsciously?) and gets preferential treatment. An earnest young man who flees from anything he considers "work"...but will happily pour himself into crafts he enjoys. And others that I can only encapsulate even worse, so I won't try! There is plenty going on and plenty more to uncover. I thoroughly enjoy watching them interact and cooperate to navigate their new circumstances. Other things that are present and well-done, even if they don't stand out quite as much: - An assistant AI with secrets to keep - An interesting LitRPG system, blended with cultivation - A teaser for a well-built new world - A germinating romantic relationship If you enjoy the Isekai genre, the only thing that should make you pause before buying this: It's light on combat. Plenty of action, mind you, but most of it isn't combat. If that doesn't bother you (as it doesn't bother me), then you should pick this up. ===== EDIT: After reading 5 books, I like this series even better. At this point, I'd revise the subgenre to be "death games" and mention that the death games don't finish until the very end of book 4. The "light on combat" label expires with book one...there's plenty of combat after that. It is both well done and inventive! Lastly, I suppose this could be classified as YA fiction. Political landscapes and broader implications are hinted at, but you rarely get a look at them before they arrive and change the landscape. That said, I'm no spring chicken and I enjoyed these books a great deal.

Literally stayed up all night reading this.
Format: Kindle
A classic litrpg, but without some of the lazy tropes often used. Refreshing and familiar at the same time. The worldbuilding is great, the system is intriguing, the supporting cast is fun, and the MC is best summarized as a college student out of her depth staving off constant threats of death through the sheer bullheadedness of refusing to die. Romance isn't a major theme in this story, but threre is a hint that the MC isn't quite as straight as she believes. The writing is consistent and the narrative rarely drags, and why are you still reading this review? Go read the book.

Loved it!
Format: Kindle
I'm not sure what I was expecting when I started reading this book, but it definitely wasn't what I got. And, what I got was so much better! The idea of large groups of people just being taken from Earth on a schedule and yet the general population still having a rather blase attitude about avoiding large crowds is something that, 2 years ago, I would have said was unrealistic. After living through 2020, I now think it's incredibly realistic. As is the reaction had by a lot of the ones taken with Emma - well, before the coughing started, anyway. As for the trials. Holy crap! I can't imagine having to go through those, but I loved Emma's absolute determination to make it through them so she can (somehow) make it back to Earth and see her family again. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the first trials section went, as it can be very difficult for authors to maintain a flow when there's one person. Having Suri there for conversations helped, but Wells did a masterful job there. Then we get to Hub Two and the difficulties there, and man! While I do hope that Emma doesn't have to keep taking so many crazy risks, her sheer determination to make it through works so well. Even though she clearly has plot armor that prevents her from dying, all the close calls - and the ways she gets out of them - are done really well. None of them seem outlandish or unrealistic, at least to me, which I greatly appreciated. I am definitely looking forward to reading book 2.

Started with a slow burn...
Format: Kindle
Well this book started with a slow burn as the author tried to not just teach the MC, Emma, but to everyone reading, a whole new kinda magic system. And it's purdy gimmicky if you ask me. I did like Emma's devil may care attitude when it comes to problem solving. Still it got better after new characters were introduced and Emma managed to team-up. And the story was fun as they work out the intricacies of the system. I am even eager to try the next book to see if it'll enthrall me. Here's a couple of quotes that amused me: “You could’ve died, you jerk!” I shake my head with a small smirk. “No, no, it’s pronounced, ‘Wow, that’s amazing, Emma!’ ” "...the plesiosaurus... plesiosauruses? Plesiosauri? The plessies chase after me..."

Love it! Romance included!
Format: Kindle
Love the characters, love the world, love the series! The romance aspect turned out to be quite entertaining, definitely a slow burn, which is my favorite and the fact that the love interest is a girl has me cheering. But the story is a litrpg first and foremost and isn’t lacking on anything I look for in the genre. A lot of things about the world are completely original as well. I couldn’t put it down and read through both of the first two books in two days. To those hating on Katelin… why? I think she’s hilarious and super cute. Also, if you’re confused as to why Emma seems attracted to her even though she’s straight, that’s actually explained in the next book. Pretty clever honestly.
