This full spectrum event directly supports Plug In ICA in its essential role, ongoing since 1972, of researching and presenting socially engaging contemporary art through exhibitions and programs that are always free to the public. This year, proceeds from Plug In ICA’s gala will support the continuation and development of our new Youth Art Education Program; a program which aims to provide new opportunities for Manitoba students to engage with contemporary art.
On Saturday, November 4th, 2017, Plug In ICA’s Annual Gala and Art Auction in The Bay Basement will begin with a reception showcasing the culinary artistry of Winnipeg’s top chefs, with installations and performances by artists, an après dinner lounge, DJs, dancing, and more. With attendance increasing each year for this event we anticipate 500 guests.
Sponsors will benefit from reaching a wide audience of artists, researchers, academics, students, and art lovers on the occasion of the event and throughout the year in our communications with Plug In’s local, national, and international following. Sponsors will also benefit by demonstrating their commitment to the cultural community in Winnipeg and association with an organization recognized as a hive of creative activity and innovation.This sponsorship provides the highest visibility at the event with top accolades for presenting an electric evening of the finest food, wine and entertainment in support of contemporary art.
