Skills Covered:
- Working with thick/heavy fabrics
- Elastic waist with waistband facing
- Sew binding onto patch pockets
- Inseam pockets (straight leg view)
- Attach cuffs (balloon leg)
- Sew darts (balloon leg)
Fabric Recommendations:
Heavy weight fabrics - approximately 1/4" thick ((9-15 oz per yd² or 300-500 GSM): blankets, thrifted quilts, quilted cotton, towels etc. The Warm Winter quilted cottons work perfectly.

Katy of @cortadh0e (IG) is wearing a size 4 with 1" removed from the rise (short torso). Katy's balloon version is quilted double gauze from Joann's. Katy's straight leg version uses a quilted leopard fabric (source unknown).
