Maybe you're thinking about trying a different tank and don't want to commit to breaking out the whizzy wheel just yet, or maybe you just want to be able to reverse your modification. In either case, this bracket kit is the hot ticket. It interfaces with your factory fuel tank mounts and provides two new mounting points for quite a few popular tongue-mount-type tanks that are offered for custom and chopper use.

The rear mount is reversible, giving you four separate mounting lengths between tabs—12, 12-1/2", 16-1/2", and 17". These brackets allow painless mounting of the following fuel tanks:

• 105-0037 2.1 Gallon Alien Tank
• 105-0038 2.5 Gallon Bobber Tank
• 105-0129 2.1 Gallon Narrowed Frisco Tank

Install is a snap; the mount bracket bolts right in. Install the kit for mockup. Make sure the holes are centered; flip the rear bracket around if they're not. Line up the mount hole in the bracket with the tongues, mark and then drill holes into the tongues, and then your tank is ready to rip! As with any fuel tank swap, we recommend mocking up (and pressure testing your tank) before applying body filler and paint.
