Whether you’re a complete beginner or a lifelong candle lover, our workshops offer the perfect blend of creativity, relaxation, and sensory discovery. During your session, you’ll be guided by our experienced chandlers as you learn the art of candle making — from fragrance blending and wick selection to pouring your own beautifully finished candles and wax products. You’ll explore a curated selection of premium fragrance oils and natural waxes, discovering how different scent notes combine to create mood, atmosphere, and meaning. This is more than just a workshop — it’s a mindful experience. You’ll slow down, connect with your senses, and leave not only with your own handcrafted candle, but with a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into every Dark Foundry No.8 creation. Our workshops are perfect for individuals, friends, couples, celebrations, or thoughtful gifts. No previous experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and creativity. We will always endeavour to be on point with seasonal creations, while you're participating with us. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 10 students per workshop, ensuring a relaxed, intimate setting with plenty of one-to-one guidance throughout the workshop. If teenagers are attending our workshops they must be accompanied with a parent or adult. Please note that our workshops are usually held in our upstairs studio. If you require step-free access or have any accessibility needs, kindly let us know in advance so we can arrange to host the workshop downstairs for your comfort.

Although this has nothing to do with the product, it arrived a day later than previously stated. Making me have to create a makeshift room divider the day it was actually needed. When the product arrived it arrived in a box that showed no evidence of damage. Once opened, divider was found inside a plastic cover. Great protector for dust or scratching. The divider was fully assembled so there was nothing for me to do but remove it from packaging and use it where needed. After further inspection the divider was not only cheap and flimsy looking it was absolutely unstable. It would wobble and appears to have been assembled in a rush making some panels crooked. I noted significant damage to the bottom portion of some of the panels both front and back. It does not feel like an item worth the price. The color is as advertised and the product had no smell. The sizing was accurate.
