About KW DDC Plug & Play Coilovers
The "Plug & Play" solution for BMW models, which have a standard electronic damper adjustment
Today, more and more premium vehicles are being fitted with an adaptive suspension system. Until the KW DDC Plug & Play was introduced to the market, you often had to make compromises when customizing your suspension lowering, and often had to dispense with the active control system and comfort features that you had paid extra for. With the adaptive KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspensions there are no compromises to be made and you can combine the control of your standard damper system with a step less suspension lowering and the driving dynamics of a KW coilover suspension.
For the first time, the KW DDC coilover kit combines the advantages of a KW coilover suspension with the comfort of the standard damper control. At the push of a button, the driver can choose between the Comfort, Normal and Sport-setup optimized for the KW coilover suspension. In addition, the KW coilover suspension allows individual lowering in the tested adjustment range.
The best part is: Except for the replacement of the adaptive factory OEM suspension with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilovers, there are no further conversion steps or even modifications of the stock wiring. The KW DDC Plug & Play coilover simply plug into the factory plugs for the adaptive suspension. The user is able to select the different settings with their factory interior controls of their vehicle.

KW's suspension technology is compatible with the electronics of various automobile manufacturers. The adaptive KW DDC Plug & Play coilover kit is recognized by the factory onboard electronics. All displays and control elements of your vehicle remain fully functional with the advantages of adaptive damping. The stainless steel construction provides additional protection and durability against the elements, salt and dirt. Height adjustability is retained from our unique use of materials for construction.

During installation, the standard struts are simply replaced by KW “inox-line” stainless steel struts while the adaptive KW dampers are connected to the on-board electronics using your automobile’s original plugs. Fitting a KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension requires no further steps. The standard dampers can simply be replaced with the KW DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) coilover kit. The existing control and the button installed in the interior for the operation of the damper control will retain.

I am a senior who raised a family, had a career and held down a household. Apparently, however, I’m not competent enough to use a mint 🤷♀️🤣 The first one I tried to “install” ended up in a mess in my lap. After putting on clean pjs I decided to try again, my hubby glanced over and asked why I was trying to stick my fist in my mouth and when I started laughing the mint shot halfway across the room. I am nothing if not persistent, so decided to practice with a couple. I put one in my mouth and attempted to position it with my tongue as the instructions suggest, within 2 seconds it firmly attached to the roof of my mouth. I finally managed to get two stuck onto my gums (using my finger) and they worked perfectly! Of course when I woke up there was a small tan drool spot on my clean pillowcase. I assume it’s from the side of the mint that attaches, which is a tannish brown color. Now I use one per night, they can be really hard to use sometimes but are extremely effective. They have a slightly sweet, very pleasant taste. I use multiple dry mouth products as I have COPD & use oxygen 24/7. I am prescribed 2 inhalers and a nebulizer, all of which cause awful dry mouth - to the point of feeling like my lips are stuck to my teeth some mornings. These are the ONLY things that have made that seem like less of an issue. I sleep an average of 5 hours per night and the mint has already dissolved by then, but my mouth still feels moisturized. I don’t notice any weird taste when I drink a glass of water upon waking, just a pleasant non-taste. I do recommend, just be patient! Photo is front and back next to a Tylenol caplet
