Professional equipment in mission-critical applications is all about reliability and confidence. So Theatrixx started with a clean sheet, and built what may soon become your most trustworthy piece of equipment.

Introducing the world's first video converters truly designed for the road. Video converters nowadays are used everywhere on professional A/V events, presentations, live shows and tours and often have a critical role.

Yet, they are often the weakest link in the signal chain. Low quality connectors, weak enclosure, external consumer-grade power supply, and overall barebones design that all contribute to a generally unreliable piece of equipment. They wanted to change that, so they designed the xVision Video Converters (XVVHDMI2FIBER-S2).

Features:
  • Integrated power supply with locking PowerCON connector. Never rely on a cluster of wall-warts again.
  • Built-in convenience 120V outlet to power nearby projector, TV, laptop, small video projector. Power bar to power both the converter and device not required anymore.
  • Magnetic stacking system and non-skid rubber pad. Saves at least 10 gaffer tape rolls a year.
  • Multiple mounting options: C-Clamp, wall-mount adapter, LCD mount adapter and belt adapter.
  • Rugged, Tour-ready and aesthetic enclosure: The sexiest widget in your tool box, that will keep looking good for years to come.
  • Plug-n-play operation; No dipswitches, buttons or menus to fumble with: It just works.
  • Clear and ample status LED indicators for quick troubleshooting.
  • Easy on-the-field identification with unique color and alphabetic coding system.
  • Locking HDMI port prevents accidental disconnection.
  • Reclocked and amplified SDI loop thru
  • Proudly designed and assembled in Canada.

The Air & Space Museum is a national treasure.
Format: Hardcover
This is one of those books that makes you wish you were there. Lots of pictures and tidbits of information. A good quality book physically as well. We get their magazine and this is one of many books we have both from and about the museum. Highly Recommended.

Great photo essay, history of aviation and space
i'm an engineer- worked rocket motors, and various satellite programs. this book was recommended by associate after visiting the museum at Langley. The pics are super, with short descriptions, and moderate on the tech. It's an amazing pulse of this wild history, and mostly is from America's lineage. St. Louis, Mercury, Atlas, and up to current Shuttle. There's also the SST, and unique turn of the century early birds. A fine read to be shared with a youngster (my son 10, digs it), or for the history or engineering buff. amazon has it cheaper than at the museum.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

Simple and streamlined to meet anyone's needs
Format: Paperback
This book rocks! It provide a simple and structured way to define, develop and deliver a "Kick Ass" presentation that you can project or just use from the podium. It bring the audio and visual together to compliment a story to be shared. It has taken the hassel factor out of designing a presentation for anyone on any subject. Thank you!
