Updating a well-regarded staple among musicians, the white TM-70T Handheld Tuner from Korg delivers an all-in-one tuning solution for bands, orchestras, and solo musicians alike. Compact and sporting a large LCD screen with excellent visibility, the TM-70T will have you tuned and ready to go in rapid fashion.

Along with standard chromatic tuning, the TM-70T can engage Transpose Mode to tune in orchestral reference pitches (B flat, E flat, and F), making it an ideal choice for orchestra students and school music programs. Sound Out mode emits pitches via a loud, clear, and improved internal speaker, providing a useful ear training aid. Universal graphic labels let you easily determine tuner status with a glance, a helpful feature for beginner and advanced players. And when you need expanded versatility, the TM-70T is fully compatible with the CM-400 external contact mic (sold separately), allowing you to connect the tuner directly to your instrument to make tuning even more accurate.

Tune Quickly and Accurately
LCD needle meter with wide measurement range from C1 to C8 and good response. The wide measurement range from C1 (32.70 Hz) to C8 (4186.01 Hz) enables easy and accurate tuning of low-pitched instruments, instruments with many overtones that are difficult to pick up, and acoustic instruments such as guitars and ukuleles. The LCD needle meter, which uses Korg's proprietary technology to accurately detect pitch without time lag, also allows you to check the shaking that tends to occur with long tones on wind instruments, helping you to develop a stable, unshakeable pronunciation.

Added Transpose Function
The transpose function is useful for transposed instruments where the actual note played differs from the note name written in the score. In addition to the usual in C, it is now possible to switch between in F, in B♭, and in E♭. This makes it possible for beginners to play correctly while looking at the score.

Marks for Pure Major and Minor Third Intervals
In an ensemble, such as a brass band or orchestra, harmonies of third intervals are easily perceived as out of tune, and can be made to sound better by slightly adjusting the pitch to a pure major or minor third. The TM-70T's meter scale provides marks that indicate pure major and minor thirds, and simply by tuning so that the needle coincides with these marks* allows you to play in beautiful harmony with an ensemble. This is convenient not only for orchestral instruments but also for vocal music or acappella practice.

* When tuning to a pure major or minor third, the specific note to be adjusted depends on the music that you're playing.

Sound Out and Sound Back
In addition to a meter for visual tuning, the TM-70T provides a sound out mode that lets you tune using your ear while listening to a reference tone from the internal speaker or a set of connected headphones. The reference tone can be selected from the three-octave range of C3 (130.81 Hz) to C6 (1046.50 Hz), supporting not only wind instruments, but also a variety of other instruments.

Sound Back mode generates the reference tone that’s closest to the pitch that you’re playing, while simultaneously indicating your input pitch on the meter. Since this allows you to check the pitch with both eye and ear, it lets you tune more precisely, and it’s also ideal for ear training. Refining your ear is a particularly helpful practice method for the beginner.

Versatile Metronome Section
You can set the tempo using three different methods:
  • Pendulum Step: this lets you increase or decrease tempo values in the same way as on a standard pendulum-style metronome
  • Full Step: here you can specify the tempo in single-step increments in the range of 30 to 252
  • Tap Tempo: with this setting you can specify the desired tempo by pressing the switch in time with the song you're playing

There are 15 different built-in rhythms, including:

  • Time signatures 0 through 9
  • Duplets, triplets, and triplets with middle note omitted
  • Quadruplets and quadruplets with the middle note omitted
  • 30 to 252 bpm

Very durable and my Heeler's fave inside toy
Size: Large
My red Heeler loves these balls, second only to Tennis balls but she destroys those within minutes and they are outside only. This is her inside ball. She is hard on toys and has the strongest bite of any dog I've had (shepherds, collies, weimaraners, retrievers, Labs) yet these continue to last. She catches the ball, we play tug of war with it (she places it in hand hand and pulls only when I have a firm grip, she shakes it and flings it. The rubber outside even outlasts the water-bottle like plastic piece inside. Steps holds the ball with her foot and pulls on the rubber with her mouth, stretching it to sometimes twice its size. I pull while shes pulling. This thing gets abused daily and keeps on going. Its the most used toy and she brings it to me to play with every day. Each ball lasts about 6 months before the inside ball is toast and the outer rubber is finally starting to tear/break. which for me in an incredibly long time. If this ball is available to play, she wants it over all others. Shes NEVER gotten a piece off to actually swallow and that alone is worth the price.

Great ball but easily broken
Size: Large
I got this ball for my two dogs, one is a 90 pound yellow lab mix and the other 45 pound black lab mix. So far only my bigger dog has played with it and has also busted it. He was playing with it for probably half an hour just chomping down to make it crinkle and crunch. It's quite the loud ball!! I noticed the sound wasn't as loud so I took a peek and noticed my dog basically crushed the inner ball into a much smaller ball. He's still having a good time with it though. It's only a matter of time though that he's going to chew the outer shell because it doesn't make noise like it did.

Dogs go for this ball every time
Size: Large, Size: Large
My Boston's and Rotti love this ball. I had to get two more. It's great for the Boston's because they can grasp it with the way it's made with the softer rubber. They love the crackle sound. It's just the right size and weight for smaller like the Boston Terrier and Rotti. Easy cleaning, rinses right off.
