We’ve all been there, catching our feet on cables and suddenly pulling items off the desk or abruptly unplugging equipment. The same thing can happen just by raising your standing desk and not realizing a cable got caught on something. It’s a potentially hazardous setup and could cause extensive damage to desktop devices that you rely on for your daily work.

The Basic kit includes 3 high-tech Neodymium magnets—the strongest type of permanent magnet available commercially—each with a holding force of 15lbs. The Tucker cable wrap ties (10pcs) are not like common plastic zip ties which can only be used once, ours are reusable and adjustable. When used together with a super magnet they can form a slip ring that retains and guides the cable bundle up and down the legs or any metal frame parts.

The cable wrap holders mount to the underside of a desk with an incredibly strong adhesive, or even with screws.  You can keep in place multiple larger-gauge cables in the holder or a greater number of smaller-gauged cables.

The cable sleeve wraps your cables into one bundle, protecting them and making it easier to route and guide in an inconspicuous manner.

What Makes Tucker the Best Cable Management Kit Available?

Other desk manufacturers and ergonomics dealers offer less expensive cable management kits that include very small adhesive clips that don’t stick well to the desktop and don’t have the weight rating of the mounting brackets included in our Tucker kits. Their power strips, if supplied, lack an all-important surge protector, and often have fewer outlets. Their cable sleeves, if included, may require special tools (easy to lose) or are too short for the reach of a modern height-adjustable desk. Their components are usually designed for one-time installation when in reality most people add and subtract devices from their desks all the time.

Having a kit that can adapt to those changes is really helpful. Further, they don’t include super magnet cable mounts for guiding the cable slack as neatly as possible.
