This is my favorite color for rhodochrosite, It is high grade but because it is still near the white rings it has a pinkish tone, while the grade without the white lines are more red orange in color. The lower grade that is pink has a lot of white and is not see through. So this grade has a good balance: still pink and see through.
It will be pinker in the hand (this color is extremely hard to photograph).
