MONARCH 5 OPTICS
Nikon have guaranteed that what you see is true to nature with the expert incorporation of optical properties, featuring the highest quality ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses to ensure images are sharp and clear with vivid colour. The lenses are multi-coated for the best image reproduction, including a Dielectric High-Reflective Mirror coating for superior transmittance uniformity across the visible range, and a phase correction coating to achieve higher resolution.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
For better handling, the Monach 5 binoculars are lightweight for its big, bulky size, weighing just 1230g, allowing for a more balanced hold and to ensure they stay on your face no matter how much movement you make. The body features rubber armouring to ensure grip is firm and for shock resistance.
Nikon have incorporated turn-and-slide rubber eyecups, made from a soft rubber material, with multi-click facilitate to allow you to easily adjust for the correct eye point – the rubber eyecups can be folded down as necessary, so even glasses wearers can enjoy comfortable use. Long eye relief ensures a clear field of view which is beneficial for long periods of viewing and for glasses wearers.
The Monarch 5 model features eco-glass optics that are free of lead and arsenic.
BUILT FOR THE OUTDOORS
The Nikon Monarch 5 16x56 binoculars are constructed out of a fibreglass reinforced polycarbonate body with multi-coated lenses that are fully waterproof and fog proof to ensure the user can spend long periods of time observing without disruption. The Monach model is filled with nitrogen gas for overall protection from extreme weather conditions and for consistent operability.
The binoculars come with a wide neoprene strap and flip-down objective lens caps which can be attached to the barrels of the binoculars for extra security and stability.
