But "MAHAL" is also an unmistakably Toro y Moi experience, calling back to previous works while charting a new path forward in a way that only Bear can do. Since the release of the electronic pop landmark "Causers Of This" in 2009, subsequent records as Toro y Moi have repeatedly shifted the idea of what his sound can be. But there’s little in Bear's catalogue that will prepare you for the deep-groove excursions on "MAHAL", his most eclectic record to date.

For the record... This is the FIRST ever I'm reviewing something on the first day! This stuff smells amazing! And all I've washed so far with it is my hands! Got it, (after an 8hr shift of work) and washed my hands with it, sitting outside 80 degrees with a breeze and I keep getting a wiff of it. Smells amazing like I'm wearing a cologne! My wife noticed and asked why I was wearing cologne. Highly recommend
