IN ONE L.A. MOTEL ROOM, A COSMIC QUEST IS ABOUT TO BEGIN . . . More than just a writer, more than just a science-fiction icon, Benjamin J. Carp was a cultural revolutionary. Over the course of 44 novels and hundreds of short stories—including the counterculture classic The Man They Couldn’t Erase—Carp pushed the boundaries of literary respectability for the sci-fi genre and his readers’ perception of reality itself . . . until decades of amphetamine abuse and Southern California excess finally ended a mind-bending career that always just escaped mainstream success. He died in 1982.Until 2025 . . . when Benjamin J. Carp awakens, alive, in a burned-out motel on the fringes of Los Angeles. He remembers dying. He knows he shouldn’t exist. Is he a dream? A robot? A ghost? A clone? A simulation? In his own time, Carp pondered all of these scenarios through his fiction—and now, as he treks from Studio City to Venice Beach and onward into the paranoid sprawl of 21st-century Los Angeles, he will be called to investigate his greatest mystery yet: himself. From Edgar Award nominee and Philip K. Dick Award winner Ben H. Winters (EC’s Cruel Universe, The Last Policeman trilogy) and rising star Leomacs (EC’s Epitaphs from the Abyss, Ghostlore) comes a uniquely fascinating and hilariously deranged excursion into the metatextual nexus, where existence and oblivion, past and future, genius and madness, and glitter and grim reality all meet just beyond Hollywood Boulevard.Shipping Notes

Weirdest armhole proportions I've seen
Size: X-Large, Color: Navy/Sage Green, Size: X-Large, Color: Navy/Sage Green
There are a few nice things about these tanks -- I like the colors, there's a little extra length in the back, and the fabric is a thick quality fabric. I appreciate the fact they're 100% cotton and was looking forward to wearing these.
Overall, the tanks fit as I would expect for the size. But what in the world is up with the dimensions for the arm holes? There is a significant amount of extra fabric that bunches up and looks awful (see photos) I've never had this happen on a tank top before, even one that's a size up. It's really strange and I'm disappointed that I can't keep these because of it.

Comfortable Sleep Tanks, Weird Fit for Daytime
Size: Small, Color: Hot Pink/Oatmeal Heather
These 100% cotton tanks are perfect tops to wear at home: soft, breathable, and great for sleeping or lounging. The pink is extremely bright (borderline highlighter), while the beige is a much more wearable, calm color. The fit is a little odd on me—something about the cut just doesn’t sit right—so I wouldn’t wear them out of the house, but as a comfy bedtime set of two, they do the job.

Very reasonable price for the quality
Size: Small, Color: Navy/Sage Green
The tank tops are well-made with quality fabric. I like the subdued colors, too. Unfortunately the tank tops don't fit me well.

Classy cut
Size: Large, Color: Black
Good quality tank. Just what I was looking for. Not too short for my long torso. I’m 165 lbs and the large was just right. I’m over 60 and I don’t prefer a tight fitting tank top any more. I want a skim the body look with a bit more arm coverage. These look classy. I got the black and will order the bone color next. I will hang to dry but some reviews say it doesn’t shrink.

Super baggy
Size: Medium, Color: White
I’m Taking away one star for the bagginess and length of the top
It’s super long
I kept the top because the fabric is super soft, drapes nicely in the front, and can be used to wear under a blazer or on a beach
Fabric has been washed and dried several times and has held up nicely
Some minor wrinkles
