Disinfection of water using ultraviolet light at a wavelength at 254nm is a chemical free way of destroying the DNA of microorganisms rendering them unable to replicate or cause infection.
The axial flow chamber design of the PURA ® Stainless Steel Series, (in the bottom and out the side) utilizes the energy from the Ultraviolet Lamp evenly across the water flow.
Installation and maintenance on all UVSS-15 Systems is straight forward and simple. Maintenance includes changing the lamp once a year and cleaning the quartz sleeve periodically.

Conditions for Use:
Depending on the chemistry of the water to be disinfected by a PURA Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System, additional pretreatment may be necessary. The following table outlines the basic parameters that need to be tested and treated should your water fall outside these parameters. An additional a 5 micron sediment and housing is recommended as a minimum pretreatment to guard against any large particles that may mask the ultraviolet light and also assist with startup procedures.

Hardness: <7 gpg (120 mg/L)
Turbidity: <1.0 NTU
Manganese (Mn): <0.05 ppm (0.05 mg/L)
Tannins: <0.1 ppm (0.1 mg/L)

PURA Ultraviolet Water Disinfection Systems are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of:
• 7 Years on the stainless steel reactor chamber
• 1 Year on the UV lamps and quartz sleeve
• 2 Years Pro-rated warranty on all other components

Made in the U.S.A and Cash the Border Collie LOVES them! No stomach upset!
Our dog, Cash the Border Collie is 55 labs and he LOVES these. We bought these a while ago and they were put away in an odd cupboard. Found them a couple days ago and I decided to see if Cash would eat them. He is not much of a rawhide dog. Well, I think we have found his brand of BEEFHIDE He is one happy camper with this treat!
We bought these mainly because they made in the U.S.A. While they may not be the all natural ingredients some look for, it is a treat and he likes it.

Ingredients: American Beefhide, Maltodextrin,Chicken flavor, beef flavor, Caramel, Hydrolized poultry Liver, Brewers dried yeast, Guar Gum, mixed Tocopherols. Ok, the yummiest part of the ingredients to me is the Caramel. I know, bad for Cash's teeth. But he will get these ONLY if he is a Good Dog.
And if you look at the front of the package the dog is saying 'I've been good.'
The beef flavored ones did leave a small stain that I cleaned up easily, but really, he ate it within 10 minutes so not much of anything. I think the people who are complaining about staining have dogs who are slower chewers.
No staining with the chicken flavored rolls.
Cash does not seem to care if he gets the beef or the chicken. At first he licks the roll for a minute or 2 and then he can't wait any longer and the chewing begins.
He has not had any diarrhea or any other stomach problems with these.
They are small, but we knew that when we bought them and we knew they wouldn't last long.
That's ok, they are a treat, not a bone for him to chew on forever.

Good for kittens & cats too!

Bought this for our new kitten, 5 months old, and didn't know if it was a good purchase or not. He loves it! He can chew on it, drag it around the house, interact with us too. And he hasn't lost or destroyed it. The only disappointment is the head squeaker stop working. The placard stated it would work even if bit. Not a big deal, though; kitten doesn't like the squeak. LOL

My dog's favorite toy, but
Size: 15 Inch
My dog loves his "lizzie" but the quality has gone down. The leather is thinner and easily torn, exposing the squeaker which becomes a swallowing hazard. Of course, no squeaker and half the fun is gone. For $10, I won't be buying any more of these. Sorry about that my furry friend.

Almost as good a chewing on my belt.
Size: 25 Inch
My corgi has always loved chasing her leash or a belt so I thought the snake would be a good fit for her. It quickly became her favorite. The squeakers lasted for maybe a month? Once there was a hole then we took them all out so she wouldn't choke. The snake without the squeakers is still a favorite. She's been chewing the tail end consistently and likes to lick it for some reason. I recommend this as a good tug toy. I like that it was made of leather.
