This new stabilised All-in-one Super Zoom lens has a huge 10.7x zoom range from 28mm wide angle to 300mm telephoto. The lens is Moisture Resistant with seals throughout the lens giving great weather protection together with Tamron’s Fluorine coating to repel moisture/water from the front element making it very easy to keep clean. Close up performance is exceptional with a minimum focus distance at 28mm of just 19cm, giving a max magnification ratio of 1:2.8 and 1:3.9 at the 300mm setting offering great performance for close up photography, flowers and fauna, in addition to its versatile all-in-one 28mm wide to 300mm telephoto range for landscape, wildlife, family and travel. When in challenging light conditions or tracking fast moving subjects, the proprietary VC stabilisation will help to keep your images razor sharp together with the latest optical performance incorporating 20 elements in 13 groups, giving outstanding performance across the entire zoom range. It also uses the latest version of Tamron’s ultra-fast VXD focussing mechanism helping to gain and track focus with amazing precision.

The 28-300mm F4-7.1 VC is compatible with the dedicated Tamron Lens Utility software developed in-house by Tamron. It lets users change lens settings, assign camera body functions and update firmware when available. In addition, functions unique to the mobile version can be operated remotely without touching the lens. Users may customize functions for various still and video shooting styles, providing a more personalized and fulfilling shooting experience.
