We last heard Gérald Toto on trio album Bondeko, recorded with fellow global travellers Lokua Kanza and Richard Bona, the "dreamy backdrop" and "immaculate sweet harmonies" of which earned a run of four and five star reviews, leading one reviewer to liken the trio to "an African Crosby, Stills and Nash." Entirely written, performed and produced single-handedly by Gérald, Sway's collection of 11 new songs takes it's listener on an imaginary journey to a world that has time to stop and stare, where the frenetic din of modernity is hushed to a murmur, Toto's songs seemingly plucked from a place of timeless reverie. The songs on Sway refuse categorization, a cultural melting pot of acoustic folk, jazz, soul, pop and blues with cosmopolitan borders that embrace exotic Creole and Caribbean favours. Highlights include the sweet, sambatinged romance of "My Girlfriend" and the futuristic doopwop that underpins "Umbaka", alongside the diaphanous, sun-dappled lilt of Sway's title track. Elsewhere, the gravitydefying 'Away Alive' and 'Let It Blow' are leavened by the skittering electronic beats that drive 'It's A Love Pain' and eerie, atmospheric album closer 'The Night Is Coming'. For if quiet is the new loud, Gérald Toto's voice is blessed with an eloquence that demands to be heard, as his gently insistent songs whisper in an emotional language as universal as it is engaging. Perfect for Sensitive Skin Without Feeling Heavy

I have very sensitive skin and finding a facial moisturizer that hydrates well without causing irritation can be a challenge. This one has been fantastic. It feels lightweight going on but still gives enough moisture that my skin stays soft and comfortable all day. No strong fragrance, no burning, no breakouts, just simple and effective skincare.
I also really like that it layers well under makeup and doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy or sticky. The ceramides and hyaluronic acid make my skin feel healthier and more balanced overall. Vanicream continues to be one of the few brands my skin consistently tolerates well. I’ve already repurchased this and will keep using it.

Good for sensitive skin, zero fragrance, leaves skin soft and moisturized!

I got this to go along with my Vanicream sensitive skin cleanser, and I'm very happy with it! It is a little more liquidy than cream-like, but it absorbs into skin well and leaves it feeling soft and moisturized. Great for sensitive skin and completely free of fragrance, with a shorter ingredient list that gives me more peace of mind. Very pleased with this, try it!

Great Value for a Good Moisturizer (5- Stars)

This moisturizer contains nothing fancy — and that’s the whole point. The ingredients are few but effective, with several ceramides and hyaluronic acid for deep and long-lasting hydration. Best of all, it contains no silicones or parabens. Because it’s noncomedogenic, it doesn’t cause breakouts from clogged pores. Since I have sensitive skin, all of the above are critical for my skin care routine.
It’s about as simple and as effective as a cream can get. Because of that, it doesn’t contains any sunscreen, retinol, or other anti-wrinkle components.

Excellent facial moisturizer

Highly recommend! But still irritates sensitive skin

Exceeded my expectations!
Lightweight, yet has a bit of occlusiveness (which I needed)! Hydrates my skin really well! Like the subtle smell of it also!
It tried other popular ones (with almost no occlusive components) as La roche and ordinry, but they were too dry for me. I needed the moisture to be locked in plus restore my skin barrier also. So so far vanicream was so good!
My skin type: dry, sensitive, highly irritating.
Ps I would have to try another brand after finishing this one. Irritates my skin. It’s not for sensitive skin, unfortunately
