Originally released on 7" in 1982 on Operation Twilight, this reissue uses the Benoît Hennebert cover art that was used for the Les Disques du Crépuscule 12" release. The songs on The Pale Fountains' debut single are equal to anything released by Postcard, Rough Trade, or the like at the time. Prime songwriting dressed up in carefree acoustically-minded pop. At the end of 1982, the group signed to Virgin and went on to release Pacific Street (1984) and... From Across the Kitchen Table (1985). Michael Head later formed Shack in 1987 with his brother John. Color vinyl; Includes poster.

Not for aggressive chewers

I purchased 2. The Rubber in the middle was chewed through in an hour by american bullys. Not for aggressive chewers. They are not interested in them anymore.

Harder and heavier than a dog toy should be, but it is sturdy.

The outer rim is a very hard plastic, hard enough to dent and ding furniture. Too hard to throw in the house. Dog likes it but has difficulty getting his mouth around the sides as the item is very heavy for its size. Squeaker in the middle was a a nice surprise.
Would not buy again.

Durable and well made.

Our dog will chew any toy up in 2.5 seconds. This has lasted for quite some time. It's super hard which can be a downfall because they lose interest. Squeeker is hard to push down but overall it's outlasted other toys.
