The Square is indoor only — it requires a controlled lighting environment and is not designed for outdoor use. If outdoor range sessions are part of your practice routine, the R10 Practice Package or MLM2PRO Practice Package handle both environments. Club sticker markers on the shaft are required for club data — these are included but worth knowing. The SwingNet® Pro footprint is 9'W x 12'D x 8'H. Unlike radar launch monitors, the Square doesn't require clearance behind the hitting position — it mounts to the side. Your depth requirement is simply enough room for ball flight to the net. If you're tight on space, send us your dimensions and we'll confirm the fit.
No — the Square is indoor only. It uses a high-speed camera and infrared LED technology that requires controlled lighting. Direct sunlight interferes with the camera. If outdoor use is important to your practice routine, the R10 Practice Package and MLM2PRO Practice Package both work outdoors. For outdoor capability on a Square platform, the Square Golf Omni is built for both environments.

TaylorMade TP5 Pix balls have also been tested to work well for spin accuracy as an alternative to the included dotted balls.
