The Oceaneva 4155 Chronograph Movement: A Masterpiece of Engineering

At the core of the WaveRacer beats the Oceaneva 4155. Built to exacting specifications, this integrated column-wheel chronograph features a vertical clutch design. Unlike modular or cam-and-lever systems, the vertical clutch delivers an exceptionally smooth, tactile experience every time you engage the pusher. It allows continuous chronograph operation without additional wear, preserving both accuracy and long-term durability. Operating at 28,800 bph (4Hz), the 4155 delivers exceptional accuracy, tested rigorously to an average of +/- 8.5 seconds per day via random production sampling. You benefit from a robust 55-hour power reserve, hacking seconds, and an elegant three subdial layout—powering a caliber built from an impressive 288 individual components. 

Finishing That Commands Attention

We designed every detail of the 4155 to captivate the trained eye. The rotor is decorated with Côtes de Genève and features the Oceaneva logo in striking gold foil. The plates and bridges showcase refined Perlage on the dial side and Soleillage on the bridges. Heat-blued screws and 41 functional jewels offer a brilliant visual contrast, highlighting the elite craftsmanship required to build this engine.

Significantly lighter and stronger than traditional stainless steel, highly polished Grade 5 Titanium bezel offers supreme comfort and durability. The bezel features a tachymeter scale integrated with BGW9 Grade A Swiss Luminova, allowing you to calculate speed and distance effortlessly, even in the darkest environments. The case exhibits Grade A fit and finish, highlighted by beautifully polished lugs and a brushed caseback.

Bezel is clear DLC coated making it extremely Scratch Resistant.  Hardness of 1200 HV (Vickers Hardness) Which is an extremely hard material surface, typically found in specially treated titanium, high-end stainless steel, or coatings used for premium, scratch-resistant watches. It is roughly 5–8 times harder than standard grade 5 titanium.
