With the OC7, Austrian Audio releases a true condenser microphone with the popular OC sound, which is specially optimised for use on instruments. Handmade in Vienna, Austria, each OC7 undergoes rigorous quality control before it is shipped. The heart of the new microphone is the OCC7 small diaphragm capsule, also handmade in Vienna. In-house development and manufacturing results in perfect tuning for the respective recording application. The most striking feature is the 'Swivel Joint' mechanism. To simplify the positioning of the instrument microphone, Austrian Audio's engineers have developed a suspension of the microphone basket that allows a 220° rotation in the field. This allows the microphone to be precisely aligned to the sound source or according to personal sound preferences without having to awkwardly adjust or loosen the microphone stand.
The open and transparent sound makes the OC7 a very flexible instrument microphone. It is ideally-suited for use on all instruments that have particularly lively transients, including all kinds of percussion instruments including snare drums and toms, piano, acoustic guitar but also string instruments.

The OCC7 condenser capsule was developed in Vienna and is the heart of Austrian Audio's small diaphragm microphone series. Inspired by the legendary CK1, the newly developed capsule takes on the heritage with the benefits of the classic and the demands of today. Shaped by the past, built for the future.
The OCC7 small-diaphragm capsule with true condenser technology, developed and built in Vienna, is the heart of the microphone. The capsule's three micron thick gold-coated polyethylene naphthalate (pen) diaphragm is much more robust than conventional Mylar alternatives.
The OCC7 has an impressive linear frequency response. The capsule can withstand extremely high sound pressure levels. Combined with very low self-noise, this results in an impressive dynamic range. It always sounds natural and open, and even at extreme volumes it is neither harsh nor sharp. The mids and highs are always silky smooth and are not over-emphasised.
Each capsule is hand-built in Vienna and measured and tuned in the in-house anechoic chamber.

This wallet was actually a gift, so I can’t really say how durable it is long term or whether it completely met expectations over time or whether it was returned. However, when I first received it, it definitely looked and felt like a quality wallet. The genuine leather had a nice appearance, the stitching looked well made, and it had a clean and classic style.
The price also seemed very reasonable for what you get. Overall, based on first impressions, it appears to be a solid wallet and would make a nice gift option for someone.

Fits my needs, and ID folio is removable

Just the right size, number of card and cash pockets for the way I like my wallets. Well-crafted, looks good. And, bonus points, the ID part slips right out of it, so I can use the slimmer wallet. If you want the ID part, then being abel to slide it out and present it without the wallet is probably good. I trust that the RFID blocking, a good feature, works. I have no need to test it, though.
