Great book!

I am still in nursing school- but I like to try read and gain knowledge ahead of time. I do this so that with upcoming semesters, the concepts are not completely foreign to me and Iβm not blindsided by new topics. I have been following a lot of the YouTube videos with Mark and Dr. Sharon and have found them very educational even while in nursing school. I purchased this book and I really am happy with it. I was hoping it would have offer more info in it , maybe some more facts here and there but itβs basically an answer bank. It does have some small facts but they are not in depth at all- just mainly recall information. It really is based off just past memory from your education. For me personally, I find this book pretty useful to have if you feel confident in all topics- and plan to go for your NCLEX..however, if youβre still a bit rusty on some topics, you wonβt really be able to rely solely on this book to brush up on information- not in a manner of depth (which I guess is the point). I think applying his lectures, listening to their YouTube videos and applying this book would make the ultimate go-to. The book alone is wonderful- but itβs simply just answer banks to help recall the info. Which is great if youβre looking for strictly recall.
I was fortunate enough to find his lectures on Reddit along with some of the βyellow pagesβ from other students. I can apply that with this book and be confident in upcoming tests , as his lectures are incredible.

The Blue Book
Format: Paperback
I am sooooooo happy I bought this book!! It breaks down nursing into easy understandable language. Certain things I was struggling with like ABGβs and acid base balance, this book makes it easy to understand. Thank you Mark Klimek!

A wonderful edition!
Format: Paperback
I highly recommend this edition above all others available. The translation is very clear and lucid and actually makes Timaeus and Critias real page-turners.
Not only is the translation great, but the introductory material is incredible. While one review here mentions that the translation misses some of the nuance of Platonic thought (which I don't necessarily agree with that), the introduction more than makes up for that. So many available editions of Timaeus are written by reluctant scholars who act puzzled as to why they've been asked to introduce Timaeus when they are obviously either not fond of it, or dismissive of it as an authentic piece of Plato's canon. At last, we have an edition that is faithful and generous to the source material!
