The Liquid Force Origin Jr. is the tried and true beginner's shape set up for kids with the idea of making learning fun and easy but allowing them to look like dad with an Origin inspired design. Featuring an aggressive continuous rocker and a D-I-S-C hull design for that easy and forgiving ride with plenty of boot off the wake while still providing soft landings without sacrificing board speed. This, combined with molded fins and a variable rail edge, allows the board to suit any rider, with an easy tracking feel, with plenty of control and forgiveness for any beginner or intermediate.
The Liquid Force Rant R6 is the perfectly designed junior boot based solely on comfort and versatility. Coming with Liquid Force's R6 chassis, it works with the molded EVA footbed to seamlessly combine the comfort aspect of the boot with the response and performance you want from your boots. Combine these features with Liquid Forces comfort liner and cuff stretch zone will allow for plenty of comfort in your boot while still retaining a comfortable flex.

I love them but pockets tear easily

I love them. They look nice and they are comfortable. I bought a total of three and they're all I wear in the summer.
Unfortunately the strap pockets wear out easily. On my left pocket I store a ridge wallet and my keys. For two of my most worn pair, the strap tore up to where it no longer holds the pocket closed properly. On one of those in the same pocket, a hole ended up torn in the corner. The third one I had to throw out after it shrunk after being washed improperly (can't wash them like I did my previous shorts which I washed the same way as the rest of my clothes).
I think I'll continue to wear them, maybe even buy one more, until I find something better.
