artist biography
Brita Jönsson is a Swedish painter and illustrator born 1925 in Borrby, Kristianstad County.
Jönsson studied at TBV Konstskola from 1963 to 1965, and then at Hermods in Stockholm from 1967 to 1970. Jönsson undertook painting tours to Denmark, Spain, Greece, Italy and Portugal. Best known for her landscape paintings in oil of Sweden and of landscapes from her travel destinations.
