2016 release, the third album from the country singer/songwriter. Produced by Simpson, A Sailor's Guide To Earth was written-beginning to end-as a letter to his first child who arrived during the summer of 2014 and features eight original songs as well as a rendition of Nirvana's "In Bloom." Recorded primarily at Nashville's The Butcher Shoppe, Simpson was joined in the studio by Grammy Award-winning engineer David Ferguson (Johnny Cash, John Prine, "Cowboy" Jack Clement) and assistant engineer Sean Sullivan. Along with members of his touring band, the album features Dave Roe on bass, Dan Dugmore on steel guitar, Dougie Wilkinson on bagpipes, Garo Yellin and Arthur Cook on cello, Jonathan Dinklage and Whitney LaGrange on violin and special guests The Dap-Kings. A Sailor's Guide To Earth follows his break-through, Grammy-nominated 2014 release, Metamodern Sounds In Country Music. Beloved by critics and fans, the record was featured on year-end "best of" lists at The New York Times, Rolling Stone, the Village Voices' Pazz and Jop, Rolling Stone Country, NPR Music, American Songwriter, Stereogum, the Los Angeles Times, KCRW, Pitchfork, The Washington Post and many others.

Offers tons of activity

My 70lb dog LOVES this turtle toy, was worth the price. He will play and play until he’s exhausted. We have to give him breaks from it. We use the second setting which is just for movement, no music. The only aspect I don’t like is that he will inadvertently press the button when he’s biting the toy, changing the setting and sometimes has turned it off. The velcro is super strong, which is good but makes it difficult to open. Battery life is decent, lasted a few days with him playing with it an hour or so each evening. I like the auto shut off after 30 minutes of no movement.

Great toy for a dog who is not afraid of noises

My puppy loves this thing! She was confused at first but now she plays with it daily. I just let it jump and sing the first time. She looked at it with the cutest head tilt. It is a bit loud so if you have a dog that's scared of noises this might be the right toy. Now when she picks it up, I turn it on and she gets so excited! The different songs make the toy less annoying for me, lol. Honestly, anything to tire out a 4 month old puppy. She is very entertaining to watch.

What a fun toy!!!
Color: Turtle
This is the first toy in a very long time my 10yo GSD wants to play with. She actually brings it over for me to turn on. It is loud and wiggly... She goes nuts for it! So far good quality with shaking and light chewing. Very easy to turn on and off. Great value for the play enjoyment of my sweet girl, gets her up and moving.

Toy to keep pups busy

My puppy absolutely loves this toy. He runs after it all day and the sound isn’t that loud. The material is durable and he can not get to the rechargeable ball inside so it’s very safe . The material is thick enough for busy chewers and it’s so adorable . Great value for your money
