The shoe is constructed from two main components: a carbon shell and a separate one-piece internal bootie that’s now updated with Matryx technology straps that feature carbon yarns woven into them for added stability and reduced weight. This design was born from the demands of pro racers such as Tour de France podium finisher Romain Bardet, who favors the Comete Ultimate for its uncompromising performance. The shoe is designed with a ultra-low stack height (4.5mm), giving you an incredibly close connection to the bike, and the low-cut ankle collar allows a full range of motion.
