Rather than perform, record, and mix every note himself - a trademark of his previous solo endeavors - Crow formed Gloomy Place, a band made up of close friends that includes another member of the beloved Heavy Vegetable. Recorded and mixed by Ben Moore (Hot Snakes), You're Doomed presents a fascinating dichotomy: dynamic, eclectic prog-pop backing alarmingly confessional, often acerbic lyrical themes. This juxtaposition makes for an album of confrontational yet accessible songs filled with wry wit and emotional depth. Whereas Crow's previous solo endeavors acted primarily as low-key stopgaps between Pinback albums, the stakes are markedly higher here - and it shows in both the depth of songwriting and impressively labyrinthine performances. Gone are the 60-second blink-and-you-missed-them acoustic sketches that became a staple of Crow's solo albums; You're Doomed is filled with the kind of thoughtful attention to detail and craft that was a hallmark of Pinback's legendary catalog. Great Coffee, saving Starbucks money everyday
Bought two of these 14 months ago:
1) Makes a great cup, hot, very tasty; I work in the coffee industry, this is a great mini version of a proper espresso machine
2) It's miniature, especially great for small kitchens. Stainless steel, very easy to use and clean
3) The milk steamer is average, almost a gimmick
If what you care is the classic black coffee with milk this is a great option, definitely good value

Must have for coffee drinkers will love
The coffee drinkers wet dream. This works so well and it one of the best additions to our house. The ease of use and the way it works make my husband and son just love their coffee. I don't drink coffee but I know this machine is too notch as they swear by this. Quality as well as workmanship are bar none.

Solid, but not without fault.
Got it on sale for 90$ and honestly it’s been pretty solid. After making espresso, the grounds are always left watery, but that’s just a design fault in trying to achieve more pressure. The coffee is pretty consistent and solid, a pretty good value for what it is.
My main issue is that it leaks water now randomly after about a year of use, which ultimately warped the coffee station it sat on. I know some bigger brands that begin leaking after time as well. So for under 100$, I got what I paid for. this saw some heavy use and got the job done. Probably wouldn’t buy again though.

Worth a lot more than I paid!
I waited a year before making this review. I could not be more impressed with how well this machine has been performing, regardless of its low price. I have been making two or three americacano's a day for a year. Every cup is just like the last. It takes about 90 seconds to have a hot eight ounce americacano! The only time it leaks is if I grind the beans too fine. Once I dial in my grinder, Im set until I switch to different bean. I feel like I have already got my moneys worth. If it died tomorrow, I would order another one.

The coffee is very tasty
This 20-bar espresso machine is compact, stylish, and very easy to use. It makes great-tasting coffee with a nice crema, and the steam wand works perfectly for cappuccinos and lattes. The water tank is spacious and convenient, and the display showing brew time and water temperature gives it a modern touch. Perfect for enjoying great coffee at home without taking up much space… I’m in love with my coffee maker 😍
