The Changing Tides Ring:  a ring to wear as a reminder of the beautiful ocean and the hope ahead that things will not always be as they are.

The band in the picture is an example of how your hand crafted band will appear. Each band is hand drawn and textured and, as with the nature of handmade items, your band design may vary slightly from the band in the picture.

The completed rings in the pictures were completely handcrafted from sterling and fine silver. The wave detailing on the band will be hand drawn, sawn out of sterling silver sheet, textured by hand, and oxidized to bring out all the little details.

Ring bands are thick and weighty (made from 16 gauge sterling silver with another 24 gauge wave detailing soldered on).  The back plate is also made from thick 16 gauge sterling silver.  

If you aren't traveling this year, you can still enjoy a beautiful ocean view when you look down at your finger.

Sea glass measurements and info:

Turquoise: Japanese sea glass 21mm wide x 19mm high x 5mm deep

Teal Green:  English sea glass 15mm wide x 17mm high x  8mm deep

Midnight Sea:  English sea glass 16mm wide x 17mm high x 7mm deep

Steel Blue:  Japanese sea glass 15.5mm wide x 15.5mm wide x 8mm deep

I will only use genuine sea glass in my jewelry all of these pieces of sea glass have been purchased from reputable beach combers. 

Approximate ring band measurements:

12 mm on the side at the widest point and 8mm at the most narrow point in the back
16 gauge sterling silver plus 24 gauge wave detailing (a very nice weighty band) and heavy 16 gauge back plate.

Durability:
Each piece of my sea glass pieces go through a process to ensure tarnish will not form under the glass, however, care must still be taken to avoid getting your sea glass pieces wet.


All of my jewelry is entirely made by me with lots of love right in my home studio on the Oregon Coast.
