Whether you’re deploying new fiber drops or consolidating existing terminations, this enclosure keeps your network resilient, scalable, and neatly organized.

  • Durable, weather-resistant protection: With a NEMA-4 rating, the JPM4000 Series enclosure keeps dust, water, and corrosion at bay, ensuring dependable fiber terminations in basement utility rooms, garages, and other moisture-prone environments where leakage and seepage are common concerns.
  • 4-slot capacity plus splicing tray area: Designed to hold up to four fiber adapter panels while providing a dedicated space to mount a splicing tray, this enclosure supports orderly fiber terminations, tidy cable routing, and straightforward future upgrades without sacrificing accessibility.
  • Secure, gasketed access: A single rubber gasket door paired with a hex nut security lock provides controlled access to sensitive fiber connections, reducing tampering risk while maintaining environmental protection against dust and moisture ingress.
  • Flexible wall-mount on solid surfaces: Ideal for mounting on cinder block, concrete, or other masonry walls, the JPM4000 is well-suited for installations in basements, utility rooms, or electrical closets where wall space is fixed and stability matters.
  • Moisture-ready for below-ground installations: Built to excel in basements and below-ground floors, this enclosure helps safeguard fiber connectivity in spaces prone to water leakage and damp conditions, ensuring long-term reliability for critical networks.

Technical Details of Black Box JPM4000 Series NEMA-4 Rated Fiber Optic Wallmount Enclosure - 4-Slot

How to Install Black Box JPM4000 Series NEMA-4 Rated Fiber Optic Wallmount Enclosure

  • 1. Plan the installation: Select a dry, stable wall location with sufficient space for four adapter panels, a mounting area for a splicing tray, and convenient cable routing to enter and exit the enclosure.
  • 2. Prepare the mounting surface: For masonry walls (cinder block, concrete), use appropriate anchors and screws rated for the wall material and the weight of the enclosure when populated with panels and cables. Ensure the surface is clean and free of obstructions.
  • 3. Mark and drill anchor points: Hold the enclosure in place and mark the anchor point locations. Drill pilot holes and install masonry anchors if mounting to brick or concrete surfaces. For wood or drywall-backed walls, use suitable hardware (not included) rated for wall thickness and load.
  • 4. Mount the enclosure: Secure the JPM4000 to the wall with the appropriate fasteners, ensuring the door remains accessible and the enclosure sits flush against the surface. Tighten screws evenly to maintain the gasket seal and preserve environmental protection.
  • 5. Plan internal layout: Arrange fiber adapter panels and route cables to the splicing tray area. Remove knockouts as needed to accommodate entry and exit paths for fiber lines, ensuring smooth bends and avoiding strain on the connectors.
  • 6. Install adapter panels and splicing tray: Install up to four adapter panels in the designated slots. Mount the splicing tray in its allotted area, secure with any included hardware, and neatly organize splices and pigtails to minimize excess cable length inside the enclosure.
  • 7. Route and label cables: Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables using cable managers or ties to prevent tangling. Label each fiber leg for easy identification during maintenance or future expansions.
  • 8. Seal and verify: Close the gasketed door, engage the hex nut lock, and confirm that the seal remains intact to protect against dust and moisture. Perform a basic integrity check to ensure all panels are securely fastened and that there is no excessive movement of panels or cables.
  • 9. Documentation and testing: Document the installed configuration, including panel positions and fiber identifiers. If applicable, run a basic continuity or insertion loss test to verify proper terminations before commissioning the network.

Great product for rv
This is an excellent product. The front of our camper was very faded from the sun even though we keep it under a cover. After four coats, it looks like a different RV. We are going to do the entire camper. The difference is amazing. You will be so happy with the results. We would give it a 10 if possible.

Amazing fiberglass restoration.
So easy to use and fabulous results. A few years back I had tried Maguires products to restore the shine on a 5th wheel. That was so labor intensive and the results were struggled to achieve faded quickly. I hesitated to Poli Glow due to the cost and our prior attempts lackluster results. I was able to get the restoration kit at a discount on Black Friday through the stores website and tackled the camper with the temps between 60-90 as instructed. I bought 2 of those kits just to find out that due to the climate and UV exposure the number of coats I would need for the Poli Glow was going to exceed the amount I had on hand through the 2 restoration kits. So I had to scramble to buy another bottle of Poli Glow. Applying this product is just time consuming and not difficult. Make sure to properly prepare the surface before using poliglow. The whole system turn a badly oxidized camper into a shiny finish. I am truly shocked. Hopeful the results will last a while. 5th wheel camper 40 foot long. I have used 3 poliglow bottles (12 coats), 1 bottle poli ox, 1.5 bottles of Poli wash (of course, not in that order). I potentially need 1 more bottle of Poli Glow to finish nose cone/basement area (basement area is still in good condition so may not do this area if I can get the nose cone with the remainder of the Poli glow I have.)

Worth the time and effort.
After proper surface prep and 6 applications, my badly sun damaged RV shined like new, with many compliments. However, after a few months under the cover, the fiberglass surfaces that were in contact with the occasionally wet cover in the Florida sun discolored badly, and will have to be wet sanded and the coating re-applied. Also, the polish does not hold up well where boat fenders rub against the coating, and it wears away in cockpit areas that are heavy hand traffic, like hatchways and around handrails. Overall a decent product, I will probably re-apply in a couple seasons.

Brings old paint back to life.
Best product for fiberglass oxidation. Tried many different wax’s and compounds. Poly Glow did what the wax could not do.
