The highly popular works have a contemporary, urban edge, but as an artist, Dan is hugely influenced by the creations of the Renaissance and it’s the fusion of the two different styles that make the pieces so special. Constantly constructing concepts as physical creations, Lane’s development and experimentation methods coupled with his ability to blend thematic elements, results in work that is simultaneously stylistically distinct and ever evolving. Often using elements such as skulls, dollar bills, flowers and hummingbirds, the artworks are statement pieces in any room.
