Discovered by film director Roger Vadim, Cairo-born "British Bardot" Gillian Hills is best known for her roles in cult movies such as Beat Girl (1959), Fellini's Blow-Up (1966) and A Clockwork Orange (1971). Her parallel career as a teenage singer/songwriter saw her record for the Paris-based Barclay label and enjoy success on the burgeoning yé-yé scene. Encompassing sentimental ballads, beaty numbers plus Gillian's own well-crafted compositions, this 24-track best of comprises original material and cover versions. Gillian's catalog has been largely overlooked - Zou Bisou Bisou is the only single CD currently available. Having worked latterly as an illustrator, in 2012 the spotlight was once again thrown upon Gillian when 'Zou Bisou Bisou' featured prominently in Season 5 of MadMen. Courtesy of Alec Palao, Zou Bisou Bisou includes a new interview with the artist. Highly regarded by yé-yé aficionados, Gillian Hills is a welcome addition to Ace's French pop compendium.

Sleek shear soft cool zippered pillow cases

I'm a huge fan of bamboo fabric. It feels great to wear and so it also feels good to sleep on, especially during hot and or humid spells. Pillowcases came in a pack of 2 and were well packaged and arrived undamaged. Shipping was very fast.
Cases appear to be well made. they are a lovely soft green which is perfect for a restful bedroom setup. As expected the fabric is soft and relaxing against the skin, it seems to retain a cooler feel than cotton.Bamboo tends to be a thinner fabric that is light and once damp, dries pretty quickly. Perfect for folks who run hot normally and need extra cooling during the summer or people who sweat at nigh. Cases are zippered and zippers worked well and appear nicely sewn in and decent quality. At night, slept very well. I think this is a good product and like the price point a lo. Will be looking to get another set very soon!

Soft, luxurious pillowcases

Great quality, soft, luxurious material. Love the way these zip up to keep pillow from falling out. The weight of the material is pleasant—somewhat like the bamboo material. The rich navy blue color is beautiful. Great value and very durable.

Nice but stains show

These are comfortable and love the zipper. That’s why I bought them. I don’t know if I try chewing my pillowcases in my sleep but I got sick of waking up with it half way out. Only complaint is that my oily skin shows pretty well on it. Only time will tell if zipper holds up. I like so far and am keeping these
