The norda 003 is an approach shoe reimagined for runners who move between disciplines. Designed to transition seamlessly between hiking, scrambling, and running, this laceless design uses an elasticised Bio-Dyneema® fit system that maintains consistent tension over time, eliminating the need for constant adjustment whilst moving through varied terrain.

Elasticised Bio-Dyneema® Fit System

The upper is constructed with Bio-Dyneema® and features an added elasticised Bio-Dyneema® layer developed exclusively by norda. This elasticised system allows for a dialled fit that remains unchanged over time — no laces to adjust, no pressure points developing, just consistent secure hold across long days on your feet. The fit system adapts to foot swelling during extended efforts whilst maintaining stability where it's needed.

Customised Vibram® Midsole and Formation Sole

The foundation uses a customised Vibram® SLE midsole for cushioning that balances protection with ground feel. The exclusive norda x Vibram® Formation sole features Litebase® technology and Megagrip® rubber with 5mm lugs, providing uncompromising traction across varied surfaces. At 5mm foot position (26mm heel, 21mm forefoot), the geometry keeps you connected to the terrain whilst offering sufficient protection for all-day comfort. A custom-designed eTPU insole delivers the highest possible energy absorption and return. 

Built for All-Condition Adventures

A padded heel collar provides comfort during extended wear, whilst a reversed heel tab with pull-through design allows the shoes to be easily clipped to a pack when transitioning between activities. Hi-vis reflective detailing runs front to rear for 360° visibility during low-light conditions. The Bio-Dyneema® construction withstands the abrasion of scrambling, the repeated impacts of running, and the extended contact of hiking without degrading.
