Description: 

Here for your consideration is a vintage 1964 Gibson Melody Maker DC in very good condition! Beautiful checking and vintage sunburst finish on this one. The body shows a fair amount of dings, finish chips, buckle rash, and wear but has no major damage. Neck shows a few very minor blemishes but is comfy and in overall very good condition. Headstock shows some light wear and finish chips along the edge but is otherwise clean with no major damage or issues. Fretboard is in beautiful shape. Frets show some light wear but no big divots or issues. Hardware is overall in great shape for its age but tuning machines do show some age. Electronics work perfectly with no scratchy pots or issues. Pickup sounds fantastic with a vintage low/medium output. Don't be fooled, even though these melody makers were sort of a student model, they are incredible and so fun to play. This one plays effortlessly and has all the vintage vibe you could ask for. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes non-original hard case.

It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
