Thats why the VIPER HD is produced with focus on durability using our ASA SANDWICH TECHNOLOGY which is the strongest semi-custom technology to-date. We use a 0.8mm thermoplastic polymer ASA skin at the outside covering the EPS-Epoxy-Glass sandwich core. The thermoform ASA material is known for its extraordinary impact and ding resistance. An additional wide reinforcing band around the rails protects the most exposed area from mast impacts.

The VIPER HD comes in 3 different sizes covering all kind of student body weights:

• Body weight <70kg >> VIPER HD 180
• Body weight 65-95kg >> VIPER HD 210
• Body weight >85kg >> VIPER HD 240

Even though the VIPER HD might look unspectacular at first view it features some sophisticated shape details:

• The rocker line with a longer flat in the center improves the stability and efficiency in sub-planing conditions. A harmonious rocker towards the tail enables a smooth transition into gliding/planing mode without sudden or overwhelming power surges.
• Fuller rails in the nose and center increase the volume and make the VIPER HD super stable. Ergonomic rails towards the tail result in a good response to sail or foot steering.
• Ideal for the first-time windsurfing experience: The overall width provides excellent stability for uphauling, while the parallel outline and extended waterline keep it tracking well in a straight line when at lower speeds. Yet this design concept delivers effortless gliding and early planing making it the ultimate school board.
• The bottom features a Vee with concaves in the front combined with a flat progressive Vee towards the back. This is the ideal compromise between comfort, easy going and control even in chop.

The VIPER HD is a high-tech learning machine packed with tech features to elevate the learning experience:

70% EVA PAD

A large 6mm deck pad covers the entire stance area which results in a foot-friendly riding sensation. The pad ends above the rail for longevity when stored and pushed into board-racks. We only select EVA colours which don't look dirty after use and will also resist fading after hours in the sun.

RETRACTABLE DAGGERBOARD

There is no alternative to a retractable daggerboard when it comes to everyday use in a busy surf center. We only use the original Allgaier daggerboard which is the most reliable and functional system. Widely available spare parts make it easily serviceable.

EASY HANDLING + SECURITY

Handles on the nose and tail make it easier to carry the board into the water. Can also be used as an attachment point to lock the boards at night.

VIPER FIN incl. Quick-Lock System

The 34cm fin is big enough for directional stability yet short enough to allow shallow water launching. The edges are not excessively sharp to reduce the risk of injury. Our P-COMPOUND material guarantees maximum durability. The Quick-Lock System is the most convenient system for mounting your fin as it doesn't require a screw driver - ideal for rack storage. The recessed extender lever guarantees maximum leverage and is 100% fail-safe.
