Seibon hoods are hand-laid or vacuum infused by experienced craftsmen using aerospace-grade carbon fiber materials. The carbon sheet is integrated into a fiberglass support skeleton molded together to prevent cracking or splitting. Installation requires professional expertise. Seibon recommends that stock hood springs or shocks not be reused and that hood pins be installed for additional safety. Minor modifications and fitting adjustments may be necessary. Painted parts should be pre-fitted before painting as painted items are non-returnable.

To maintain finish longevity, transfer the stock heat shield or install an aftermarket heat shield behind the carbon hood. Seibon offers replacement for panels exhibiting significant clear coat defects within the warranty period.
