The OC500 Serenity Series Ocarina is a compact wind instrument used for playing melodies with a dulcet flute- or recorder-like tone. This 12-hole alto transverse ocarina produces clear, consistent, airy sound with ample volume, making it a great choice for practice, learning, performance, and casual use. For an ergonomic playing experience, the angle of the mouthpiece encourages a relaxed wrist orientation, which allows players to hold and support the instrument comfortably with their palms. Plus, the tone holes are arranged for easy and natural finger positioning. The removable metal snake-chain neck strap lets players rest their hands during music breaks and prevents accidental drops. Unlike many wind instruments, this ocarina does not require any assembly and has no small pieces to misplace. And, as it never goes out of tune, it’s always ready to play. The included instruction booklet explains proper handling and finger-placement technique, lays out the fingering for each note, and even includes sheet music for a few songs with accompanying tone-hole diagrams.
