The Abrelatas is a modified version of our Tlax hawk designed for breaching applications. It is made from plate AR500 steel and is 3/8" thick. AR500 steel is extremely tough and bullet proof. The longer spike end is made flat for peeling open wooden/metal door frames and can be used for padlock breaking as well. The bottom of the handle is also machined to act as a lever for greater mechanical advantage. The wide hammer teeth allow the hammer end to grab round objects without slipping during strikes. This tool is made for hard use where normal handle scales could easily fail, so included is a roll of Goon Tape for the user to install. The Goon Tape will give a non-slip grip even when wet and provide some shock/impact resistance. The Abrelatas is powder coated black matte for reduced visibility and is laser engraved with the Sneakreaper and TCNC logos.
