how to install GVision 20 Input and 20 Output Video Wall Controller

Installing the GVision Video Wall Controller is straightforward, designed to minimize setup time while maximizing reliability. Begin by selecting a ventilated, dust-free equipment rack or mounting surface with adequate clearance to promote airflow and prevent overheating during long-running displays. Ensure you have a stable power source and a reliable control network, as both contribute directly to performance integrity and uptime.

Step 1: Prepare your sources and cables. Gather HDMI cables compatible with your display wall and the source devices you’ll be routing through the 20 inputs. Label cables to simplify future maintenance, and verify that you have clean, shielded connections to minimize interference on signal paths.

Step 2: Connect inputs. Attach each source to the corresponding input on the GVision device. With 20 inputs, plan your layout to optimize routing efficiency and future expansion. Use shielded HDMI cables of appropriate length to reduce signal degradation and ensure consistent performance across the entire wall.

Step 3: Connect outputs. Route the 20 outputs to your video wall displays. If your wall uses a daisy-chain or matrix configuration, configure the PCIe switching system to guarantee optimal bandwidth distribution and low latency across all displays. Double-check each connection for secure seating and minimal bend radius to avoid signal losses.

Step 4: Power and network setup. Plug the controller into a reliable power source with surge protection. Connect the device to a local network for remote management, monitoring, and EDID customization. Power-on self-test should indicate proper recognition of all inputs and outputs; if not, re-check connections and verify the EDID settings for each display segment.

Step 5: Configure EDID and resolution. Access the Linux-based interface to customize the EDID profiles and preferred display resolutions. The custom EDID capability allows you to tailor output timing and color characteristics to the specific needs of your wall and displays, ensuring uniform brightness and color accuracy across the entire matrix. If you plan to enable Picture-in-Picture, configure the source selection and overlay parameters to achieve the desired composite layout.

Step 6: Test and optimize. Run a complete wall test with representative content, including high-contrast banners and dynamic video. Observe for any misalignment, timing discrepancies, or color shifts. Use the real-time total adaptation technology to adjust streaming rates, scaling, and border handling to achieve a seamless, professional presentation. Document the tested configurations for future reference or replication in additional walls.

Step 7: Save and deploy. Once your wall configuration is verified, save your layout as a profile for quick deployment in future events or different venues. The Linux-based platform enables remote updates and monitoring, letting you refine performance without onboard service interruptions. Regular firmware updates can further enhance stability, security, and compatibility with new monitoring software or signage content.

Maintenance considerations: Keep the enclosure and fans clear of dust, monitor thermal performance during peak usage, and schedule periodic checks of cables and connectors. The GVision system is engineered for long life; however, routine inspection reduces the risk of unexpected downtime and ensures the wall continues to deliver consistent, high-impact visuals.

Great value, easy set up!
Style: All-in-One Printer
So far I give this Epson Eco Tank ET-2400 a five star review. It was very easy to set up. I bought for printing some legal documents as well as personal ones. The scan feature on this epson printer is amazing. Over the last several days I have been working to upload family photos that were in a bin my mom kept that we have had from well before I was born. These photos some of them are from the 1940's. I have been able to upload probably a thousand photos so far and still am only half way through. The espon scansmart app is amazing as well. I have been uploading up to 6 photos at once depending on the size, crop them and then save them all in a few easy steps. The app is able to detect the photos very quickly and separate them perfectly. I'm so glad I bought this print and I believe the ink will last as long as they claim. Would definitely recommend to family/friends.

Easy to use, Prints great!
Style: All-in-One Printer, Style: All-in-One Printer
Full disclosure, I own a Epson Ecotank at home and I bought this one for my business. I do not print a lot otherwise I would’ve bought a laser printer. For someone who doesn’t do a lot of printing it’s perfect. It prints photos flawlessly as you see in my photo I printed a photo of my grandson. I would say even if your print needs are in the middle this would be a great printer. It doesn’t use much ink at all. And now you can find off brand ink for a fraction of the price of name brand.

Good Printer Imposible Instructions.
Style: All-in-One Printer
Received the printer yesterday and began the process of setting it up. First I needed to download the software and drivers. That's when the pain began. I understand wireless printers and shared network printers. In this case, I wanted to connect the printer to our home wireless network so different computers could access it. The User's Guide spends a little time on a "Wireless Direct" setup where you connect your computer wirelessly directly to the printer, but little time on a LAN printer setup. After loading all the software and drivers, I finally got the printer connected to my LAN, but it took a number of false starts and trial and errors to get the printer on the LAN to be visible to my laptop. There are essentially zero instructions about this in the user's guide. Eventually I got it to print on my laptop. Then I needed to hook it up to my wife's laptop. Again, no instructions on connecting multiple computers to the printer over a LAN. I did know enough to "share" the printer in the printer settings. I eventually installed the complete software and driver package on wife's laptop. When trying to connect wirelessly, I kept getting error codes. After a few hours, I defaulted to the USB cable installation method. Now I could at least complete the installation without errors. When I went to the list of printers on the laptop I saw the epson, but it said "offline". I think that's because what I was seeing was the USB instance of the printer, not the LAN version. I finally went to Device Manager and found a second instance of the epson printer marked "Network". I was able to make this the default and the printer would now print from both laptops. Only about 3 hours more to get a second laptop to print. Since the Epson EP 2400 is a home printer and likely to be set up for wireless operation, it should take a visit by the Geek squad to get it up and running. Epson should be ashamed of their manual and instructions. Now that it's working, it does seem to print well although a bit slow.

Great product, quality colors and vibrant prints
Color: 1BK/1C/1Y/1M
Best Sublimation Ink I have found so far. Great size bottles for the price you pay. Lasts a long time and the colors print great and when you press the print the colors come out BEAUTIFUL and VIBRANT! Dries quickly after printing so no worries on smudging but even after sitting over a month on the paper still presses like you printed it that day!

Consistent, Vibrant Results That Match My Designs Perfectly
Color: 1BK/1C/1Y/1M
I’ve been consistently purchasing this Hiipoo sublimation ink for my sublimation printers, and I’ve been extremely pleased with the results. The print quality is excellent, with vibrant colors and clean transfers every time. What I really appreciate is how true the final product turns out compared to my original designs. The colors stay accurate, and the finished results look exactly the way I intended, which is very important for my projects and products. This ink has been reliable and consistent, and I will definitely continue using it for my sublimation work.
