In the year 1865, a group of Zürich citizens founded the Orchesterverein as the city's first permanent orchestra. The founding of the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich followed several years later, in 1868. Both ensembles continue to perform in Zürich today. In 2018, the orchestra can celebrate the 150th anniversary of it's foundation. This 14CD box set presents all the orchestra's principal conductors insofar as radio or other recordings of performances with them do exist. All of the material has never before been available on a recording medium. All recordings have been digitally remastered and represent the state of the art regarding digital audio restoration. The list of conductors presented in this box is impressive. Recorded musical material with composer Othmar Schoeck for instance is very rare and the discovery of tapes with his interpretation of Schumann's fourth symphony in the archives of Swiss Radio SRF can be seen as quite a sensation. Other conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Rudolf Kempe, Bernard Haitink, David Zinman, Christoph Eschenbach or Herbert Blomstedt rank among the finest conductors of the second half of the 20th century.

Great study guide and structure tailored to the 4 domains that are in the CAPM Exam. I just passed the exam on my first try scoring above target in 3/4 categories and target in 1/4 categories. The online simulations was a great way to prepare for the exam. Highly recommend you purchase to pass the first try! (This and the PMBOK Guide 7th edition were the only study materials I used)

Excellent intro to Crypto
Format: Paperback
Great book for learning about Crypto. I found it well balanced between technical and non-technical information. Love the video inserts to help mix up the learning media. I highly recommend this for people trying to understand the economic models of crypto, the history of crypto as well as the more technical information about how it works (which can be easily skipped if you like). I bought a couple of these for friends.

Before reading this book, I had no knowledge whatsoever about cryptocurrencies as I started reading through the book I learned about coins, tokens, decentralize systems. Everything you need to know about crypto NFT‘s futures and much more is in this book. The book is also extremely well structured has pictures and very detailed examples. It’s a must buy!

An excellent guide to cryptocurrencies

Dr. Jonathan Reichental is a superb writer whose books on smart cities and data governance have been a boon to those interested in such topics. With this book on cryptocurrencies, he has firmly established himself as a versatile author. Starting with the chapter on money, Dr. Reichental tells the story of cryptocurrencies, including the role of cryptography, popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, buying and trading in cryptocurrencies, regulations, the future, and more. The book is written for the novice and is very informative. It is presented with a neutral voice. It also has excellent information on major cryptocurrencies and valuable references and websites.
This is a must-read guide for anyone interested in cryptocurrencies.
