The Hutch is the third studio album by Belgian post-metal outfit Steak Number Eight (now called STAKE), released in 2013. It blends heavy sludge riffs with expansive post-rock atmospheres, creating a powerful and immersive sonic journey. The band balances aggressive, harsh vocals with moments of melodic, almost grunge-like clean singing.Tracks like “Black Eyed” and “Pilgrimage of a Black Heart” showcase dynamic contrasts between crushing heaviness and haunting melody.
