As I was working on v2 of 'Digging Your Scene' by The Blow Monkeys, I became increasingly dissatisfied with v1, which really fails to demonstrate any narrative congruence, which is the key, defining theoretical characteristic of everything I do. I guess that was fair enough, since it was probably one of the first 5 posters I ever made years ago, but really, it feels a tad weak to me now. So this third version is better. It leaves the 2SLGBTQ+ meaning to the other version (v2), but offers a better 'scene' to dig, and connects that grooviness to the saxophone which here looms in the background. In this one you can feel the song better, and its indomitable musical infectiousness. I'm tempted to delete the first version I have of this song but eh, if that's the one that speaks to you, then that's all good.
