Kenai Fjords is a modulated digital delay, designed on purpose to mimic the dark, murky, modulated warbles of the original Tel Ray Oil Can units.

First row of knobs: Mix, Time, Feedback

• Mix controls the wet/dry balance
• Time controls the length of the delay (50ms to about 600ms)
• Feedback controls the number of repeats on the delayed signal

Second row of knobs: Balance, Grit, Mode

• Balance controls the amount of sinusoidal modulation 
  
• Grit controls some soft feedback to simulate a warm preamp and worn out oil and disk heads
• Mode (toggle) goes between Adineko (guitar, 300ms modulation period) and OrganTone (organ, 150ms modulation period)

Power

It is critical that you use a high quality, isolated and filtered power supplies with The Americana Series. Every modern measure was taken to ensure quiet, recording-worthy noise suppression, but low-quality power and power supplies can inject unwanted noise in these effects. Even though we've designed them to play nicely on a daisy chain, we don't recommend it.
